TH9 is a joke compared to TH10 defense

I'm in a small 10man war clan with 57 wins so far and sometimes we get really bad matchups against some premmie TH10s with infernos. We have 4 TH10s and, 5 TH9s and a TH7 and our opponents just had 7 TH10s, 2 TH9s and 1 TH8...
It's just funny because it's IMPOSSIBLE to win those kind of wars. I'm a TH9 with traps and 5 defenses left (2 ats and 3 cannons) with 60 legos, rest skulls...
I attackes an opponent TH9 guy with decent defenses (all maxed except for lv10 ats and cannons) and around 50% skulls, got two stars for my clan.
Well here comes the funny part, I had to use my 2nd attack against their weakest TH10 (lv1 infernos, xbows, lv6 walls and lv5 mortars and wiz towers) and those flametowers burned my whole gowipe, I've used 3 rage spells and one jump spell, I was near his TH but didn't get it... I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or so. Just sayin that even the biggest premmies defends well against a maxed TH9 troop attack, as long as those towers stand. And yea I know there are lots of youtube stuff with people getting easy 2 stars against strong TH10s, I'm not unexperienced and I know how to place my troops (200+ war stars) but it's really hard getting those towers down without freeze spells..

In my opinion the jump from TH9 to TH10 is a BIG BIG difference compared to other TH levels defense-wise.

i attacked a strong TH10 with 2 lv3 inferno, 1 focused and 1 multiple, and i got 2 star easily from it.

with gowipe, 2 starring any base is very easy (unless you don't do them right)

even 2 starring maxed TH10 as a TH9 is not difficult.

i am a TH9, used 2 rage 1 heal 1 jump

2 golem (1 from CC)
3 pekka
around 18 wizard
5-6 balloons
rest wb or archers

learn how to attack. th9s can easily 2 star low level th10s with gowipe, as long as you path your troops correctly. dont attack from a side where both infernos are gonna be hitting your troops at the same time, bring pekkas for multi infernos, witches for singles.

OP, You are correct and that's why I and another strong TH9 in my clan recently took the step to TH10. The premature Th10 win over a mature Th9 in wars because IT. I could get 3-starred with maxed defence and all Legos and gave up. Only been th10 for about two weeks and it's more fun than I thought.

My advice, you cant win over SC policy so give up and join club ten and get those fancy ITs too.

I just 2 starred a TH10 in our last war, and in the war before. Both had 2 IT. I used GoWiPe on both.

It's not impossible if you aim for 2 stars. GoWiPe can easily 2 star TH10s if you do it correctly.

Should be possible to 2 star most premmie TH10's
GoWipe or even Dragons & Loons
If they are rushed, spot the weakness and exploit. Are they weak with air, spot or splash defenses?

This is also balanced as many/most Premmie TH10's are't good attackers, so shouldn't get more than 2 stars against you. Many will indeed struggle to get 2 stars

That's why I think balancing out the troops from Th9 to Th10 is really hard. Any comp that can spank a Th10, will simply crush a Th9 to bits. And it pretty much has to do with infernos. Vs a Th9 you have options. You don't need freeze spells to lock up one OP defense, so you can bring healing spells. Which by the way aren't block in any way at Th9. Not to mention the point damage of defenses is significantly less. A maxed Th10, even without infernos, will chew through even level 7 giants like its nothing (especially since you can't bring heal)


EDIT: I do agree with other posters that GoWiPe and mass dragons should be able to tackle premature Th10 bases. Also, GoViz if the infernos aren't terribly upgraded will hurt as well. Still I think the jump in defensive capabilities is a bit much. It has allot to do with trying to rein heros in

Let's say you are a strong TH 9 and "your" number in the other team is a TH 10. Your will be 3🌟 and your enemy will be 2🌟. It won't help if you can take 2 from a th10 of they take 3 from you right? You will lose the war. And pretty often our th10 get away with only losing 1🌟 but our TH 9 can be happy if they only lose 2. I thought strong walls would save me but ITs do much more. I don't say it's right , I just say how it is.
