Comments like, you'll enjoy the ride more? I do agree, theres more to be learned about the game without gemming resources, but that really is a personal choice.
On the other hand, incredibly difficult/time consuming to try and farm a max base gem free.
My max base and 35+ heroes have certainly not been free, despite pouring ridiculous hours into the game. Havent bought any resources, hardly ever gemmed an upgrade time. But 3+ hours for spells? No ty. Take some pocket money change to make that waiting bearable.
