We have freedom of speech. That includes the right to express my view about your religion. You similarly have the same right. It does not include the 'right to not be offended'. If my views offend you, tough luck. I have the right to express them. If your religion or cult is so absurd, and dangerous, that you cant defend it with words, then thats your problem, and probably demonstrates the truth of my views. However it works, you do not have the right to use violence and death to oppress or curtail my freedom of speech, or to impose your views on me.
So no, there is no justification for this, non whatsover. Its plain simple murder by a death cult intent on imposing its warped viewpoint on the world. There is no situation that justifies you killing me because you dont like my views, no matter what they are.
And a key feature of fascist, murderous, totaltarian systems is the first thing they target is political cartoonists and journalists - eg Stalin, Hitler, Mugabe, Kim Il Jong. Take heed of history, the further you look back into the past, the further you can see into the future.
