Like Gazzanga says, I think that the best thing that Supercell can do is put forward an excellent NEW global holiday event for Lunar New Year or Valentine's Day to show that they are working to change events for the future. They can also respond to player feedback (as they have in the past) with other improvements and fixes.

I'm "over" the holiday events. I don't think Supercell is going to set a precedent of having some sort of "do over" for events where we don't reach the global goal, and I don't want to see that. I DO think that they will come up with a way to encourage farmers to participate beyond the bare minimum and to better inform the entire Hay Day community about the event and our progress in it.

Actually I thought everyone wanted the bell and gramophone and Nick already mentioned that there's no way for SC to just give them to us and we have to work hard for it, so we already worked hard enough for it to reach close, so why not give us a chance to continue from the point we reached in order to get them rather than waiting for another year? Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Maybe earth might burst tomorrow ... lol, then no one will get the bell and the gramophone except for Greg.

i'm one that unfortutanly wouldn,t do it again. i am so sick of muffins. LoL. It took me a week to start making them again.:rolleyes:

But the progress made won't go down the drain. If there's a way for us to have an in-game ID, I'll be the first one to share my in-game ID, because I sell fruits and berries. ^_^

I would rarely have barn space issues if it weren't for *EMs. Both my barn & silo are only in the 1300 range, but they're taking almost 50 of each *EM to expand now, so that's ~300 spaces needed just for barn & silo, which doesn't include land or town EMs. If SC would store *EMs separately it would help alleviate inventory issues for everyone, especially the lower-to-mid level players.

As far as content updates for super high levels, eh. Frankly, I can't say I've really enjoyed any of the previous 3 updates as a mid-level player. Nectar bushes have been problematic since inception, candle maker didn't help, all ducks have done is cost me a ton of coins and disrupt the fish/lobster system I had going. So, yeah, y'all higher levels can have it. :P

Uh oh. ANOTHER FAILED EVENT. Tsk tsk SuperCell. Well what now???? And before the head shakers and finger pointers come out, yes it is my fault as a player because i did not participate as I normally would have. I proceed with caution. Living by the old saying "burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me". Well burned here. About burned out at this point. I will go on playing but my enthusiasm for the game has definitely waned in recent weeks.

I stopped halfway on truck order because it's a waste of products and I rather sell my products to rss or go for double coin truck order.


If Nick changes the reward to 10 or 20 diamonds, i'll gladly contribute. 5? Waste of time and products.

Welcome back, Nick! So glad to see you here addressing our concerns head-on.

As for me, I'm not going to demand more diamonds or even a re-do. I am one player who participates in events for the fun of it. Prizes are bonus and should be somewhat cool. Events should be fun, fresh, and do-able so your customers *ahem* players feel satisfied and want to come back for more.

When I first downloaded Hay Day, I didn't like it. The cows looked like horses and I believe I had to plow the fields before I could plant them so I dumped the game and moved on. I'm not sure why I picked it up again but I did, almost a year ago, so everything -- the seasonal changes, holiday observations, etc. -- is a new experience. The holiday gifts in the fishing area, the kegs of fireworks, chicken ghost; all sweet surprises that leave me with a warm feeling for SC. I like the attention to detail as well: the chicken tracks in the mine entrance snow, cucumber slices for the ducks, the way the duck traps flop into the water. This is a quality game.

Having said that, I will admit that some of the more repetitious aspects of the game have become a little tiresome, particularly since I have been going it alone until recently when I joined a neighborhood. Unfortunately my neighbors speak Spanish and I do not. The experience has been an eye-opener, food for thought, and a challenge. I've learned that if you're getting bored with Hay Day, there are a lot of other ways to play the game.

I've come to realize how many different nationalities play this game. It's a big world. I'm guessing there are plenty of Hay Day players who don't observe Christmas, or find Halloween puzzling, or never check out the forum because they can't read/write English. It seems like someone at SC should be taking care to speak up for these people. In the forum, everyone is so understanding about Nick's absence. Who wasn't busy over Christmas, right? Well, it turns out a lot of folks were not and maybe one of them could've been monitoring the forum for SC.

All criticism aside, I would like to thank the SC folks for this game. It got me through the dark cabin fever months last year, for which I am truly grateful.

Well said, Oinkydoink. I share a lot of your sentiments. However, after reading the Mashable link that Besta posted, I'm thinking a Mimosa, or 3 is in order. Maybe it will help me forget about the millions of dollars SC made when I'm fretting over buying another bag of diamonds, lol!
