I'm hitting a weird base in clan wars that has four layers of walls at the top. I can break the first couple and then am going to try a jump for the last couple but..
If I drop my golems are they going to take the jump or are they going to walk around to the far corners of the base where there are archer towers behind one layer of walls?

I'm a well developed th9 with all important troops maxed, AQ 15 but BK is out for upgrade.

If the golems have a straight path over a jump to a defense they should go to that then try and go through a wall, unless it is very far away.
If there are no defences outside the base/walls and defences on the other side (inside) of the 4 layers of walls, your golems should use the jump spell.
Here is the base. I'm lv 110 and pretty well maxed troops for th9.
I want to bring gowipe in from the top and can break the top two tiers (depending on presence of teslas). Then want to drop a jump to get through the next two. I'm just curious whether the troops will go down to the core or divert away to the sides. Is there a one wall vs two wall preference? Or will they divert to the air defenses instead of taking the double wall? My jump spell is upgrading but the only thing that is low lv at the moment (lv1) so little worried I will get stuck in the middle.
I think if you break the first two walls before dropping the golems they should head in and towards the jump spell

golem, loons and the rest hogs. (drop golem at the bottom mid, take out side canons and ATs w/ loons and send in hogs.)
Place some Wb's to break through the firet 2 layers of walls, then drop the jump spell then the golems, hopefuly they go for the Middle. If you drop the golems before the jump, they will most likely do around to where the archer towers are and will completely mess up your attack.
If you break the first wall, drop a jump to town hall before dropping the golems they will still probably go to the archer towers on the corners and follow that wall path. If there are tesla's around town hall and not in the buffer zone 4 tile space at top they will definitely walk to the archer towers. My advice is to take 3 loons per archer tower first or perhaps a few hogs each before dropping the golems. Another option is to drop a jump where the air def is one side and follow with golems heroes to bust into the centre but I don't know how great attacking the top like that is to be honest as 50% may be difficult after getting to the centre.

golem on 7 oclock cannon with your heroes to take out queen
hogs right behind them
the only double giant bomb locations are in the core and the way they are setup it doesnt look like youre ever gonna trigger both bombs at the same time
Simple,
take the archer towers out and go in lol.
I was thinking of just going in by the 9 o'clock archer tower and then using the jump spell to hit the core after they get to the air defense. Using three golems at least one should hit the core and others the wiz tower slot. So should clear out that half. Will keep some loons for clearing out bottom when AD/AQ is down.Quote:

Other possible db locations include by the wiz towers and between the cannons at bottom. Witch won't work for pull with a loon or two likely in cc. Worried about hitting a 90% 1 star if coming from bottom.Quote:

With a GoWiXX attack, I'd drop a barb at the top to test for traps, then drop 2 WBs to break the first wall. The barb would go to the 2nd wall to test for more traps. Then 2 more WBs. Then I'd send golems or 2 giants in. Once the X-Bows lock on, I'd send 2 more pairs of WBs in. Then it's a straight shot into the core.
The way the walls are, WBs will head straight in and bust through all 4 layers of walls. I'd rather bring an extra 2 pairs of WBs and save your jump spell for getting your troops out of the core.
I would just straight up hog this base, the double giant bombs seem to be down outside the walls, just between the cannons.
