DiverRev's New War Idea - Individual War
Hello everyone,
Posting an idea that could enhance the game and add another dimension to war.
My idea is an Individual 5 day war - A lot of players love to war but sometimes the schedule of the clan war is not the best for a personal players time frame or as I'm sure most of you know you can get clan mates that just can't attack properly, leave war or don't attack. So, as an addition to the game I propose an individual war button.
The button would be added onto your profile page.
This war button would match you and 4 other individual players of similar strength and level.
Each member can only attack each base once, so you get 4 attacks per war (1 for each base). The goal as in regular clan wars is to get the most number of stars.
Time length - You have 4 battle days with one day for prep. Prep day can be reduced in time if all individual players hit a button saying they are ready for war. Prep day is used to fill your defending war cc with the troops you want. Once you have it filled you can activate a button saying lets war or something like that and once all 5 participants hit that button, the war starts and can cut down prep day time. If one or more participants do not hit the lets war button, the war starts as scheduled, 24 hours after the individual war has been matched.
You request for your defending war cc troops by a button on the individual war map. This button sends a request to the clan your currently in stating its for your individual war and then allows you to request the certain troops you want.
The individual war is able to be played at anytime with or without a clan and at the same time as a clan war.
The scoreboard will show each players name with two columns next to each name. 1 column with how many war stars a player has and another column with how many attacks the player has remaining.
An icon under each base will show if the base has been attacked, by which player and their percentage & stars on that base.
No one other then the 5 players can access the war during prep or battle days. This part could change but it is my personal preference to keep it closed off to anyone not in the war. I think that a lot of players love the game (obviously) and love to raid with big armies but really hate or are uncomfortable attacking with 15+ eyes watching. I also think players can get discouraged by a whole clan counting on how your attack goes. This individual war will allow these players to participate in a war setting comfortably with all others that enjoy the clan wars.
Each player will not be able to see any replays of the other attacks on any of the bases during the individual war until the war has ended.
To also keep it an individual war, the clan that each player belongs to or currently is in will not be shown to others in the war. This hopefully will eliminate anyone from trying to communicate or intimidate the other players.
Loot -
Their will be 5 payout levels depending on total strength of the 5 players matched.
As with clan wars a predetermined amount of loot is set for the bases.
Player with most stars gets most loot, player with 2nd most stars gets second most loot, player with 3rd most stars gets third amount and so on.
The payout is set that the player with the top amount of stars receives the payment of the total of the other 4 bases. (this payout has no correlation if you 5 starred a base or 0 starred a base, it pays out as if you starred every base for being the winner of the war). If each base has a determined figure of 588,000 gold/elixir and 1100 de, the first place at end of 5 days would receive 2.352 million gold/elixir and 4400 de no matter how they did on each particular base.
2nd place receives loot from totaling up 3 bases, 3rd place receives loot from the total of 2 bases and 4th/5th get a percentage like in clan wars as a loss bonus.
Ties -
If their is a tie, both players get the same amount of loot dictated by the place they come in. Example, if two players are tied with the second most stars, both players get the full payout each. No splitting or reduced bonus.
If a tie occurs, a tie payout can ONLY be collected by players that have tied at or over a total number of 9 (or another amount) total war stars. This is to try to eliminate players from all leaving their ths out and tying at 4 stars each and everyone getting the number one bonus.
Stars -
To try to cut down on players leaving town halls out, I would set a 5 star system for all players to use in the individual war.
5 total available stars available per attack, 20 total available for war and this provides a less of ties between individuals
5 star war option -
1 star for town hall destroyed
1 star earned for 50% base destroyed
1 star earned for 70% base destroyed
2 stars earned for 100% destroyed base
5 total stars per base
Matching -
Now because this is an individual war and you don't have clan members to attack bases higher or lower then you, the individual war must have at least one prerequisite to the matchmaking. Town halls must be paired with similar town hall levels. Th10s must be matched with th10s, th9s with th9s, and so on. Could make an argument for th7s and th8s to be matched together then th6s and below to be matched together but that would have to be researched. Yes, I know th9s can do well against th10s but if your a high enough th9 to be matched against low th10s, I would think you would still be over matched if you matched against 3-4 th10s. Thoughts? Same goes for high town hall 8s being matched with low th 9s. I know players have a lot of success attacking higher levels but still to do it against 4 opponents with higher troop levels, camps and spells would be tough. Again, thoughts?
If SC sees this as too much between regular raiding and clan wars, can set to allow players to only individual war every 7, 10, etc amount of days or a predetermined amount of days in between each individual war.
Collecting the loot: Loot can be added to the current cc like clan wars. Will need to increase storage amounts, don't see this as a problem. Players will need to manage loot storages between individual and clan wars.
2 new achievements are added to players profiles 1). Total individual war loot grab 2). A count of how many times a player has won an individual war
