My clan and I spent some time on these ideas, hopefully they're liked!
CoC Ideas
- Be able to donate resources to members of your clan. Would be great for war incentives. Only Leaders though, because ideally their further along in the game. No cool down for that either, and no limit, let the leaders decide that please.
- Be able to use gems to speed up builders, or to shave off a certain amount of time from upgrading timers, especially to allow things to be eligible for war. Or to be able to upgrade builder’s huts, like other buildings, and with each level some level of % gets taken off the upgrade time. Able to put more than one builder on an upgrade. Upgrading builders huts give you more builders; sort of like a residence, or community of builders.
- Spell Traps for base defenses: spells slow down attacking troops; freeze troops; drain health from troops and give to defensive structures; turns troop around in opposite direction…etc
- A structure that traps attacking troops and you can use them for attacking later. With each upgraded level, you can hold more capacity just like Castle.
- Birthday’s need to be given. That way people can see how old their members are because there are a lot of kids out there playing. Some clans don’t want kids. At this point asking people for their birthday is a little weird since the game has been out so long, so offer it as ‘optional,’ but if they give their birthdays then on their birthdays they can pick a ‘present.’ Gems, Elixir, Gold, or Dark Elixir. That’ll get most people to put…something in at least.
- A separate chat tab for leaders only, and another one for leaders and elders only. Also a way to message a specific member, sort of sending on specific member a clan main, or chat message. The little red number should show up on each chat tab that way you know if someone is talking on the leader or elder chat.
- A way to see who’s online playing the game that way we can know who’s on if were trying to chat with a specific person. Give the option however to appear ‘offline.’
- Clan Mail editing. Be able to save a message and send it later, or if you game ‘times out’ when you log back in its still there, just like in village edit mode. Your mail you were typing gets “recovered.” There are a lot of times when I’m creating a Clan Mail and the game times out, it reloads and I have to start over. Very irritating.
- Get rid of Clan mail cool down, or let the leader decide how often the clan leaders can send mails.
- Be able to send friend requests so you can keep track of people you play with, and join them later
- When “finding" an opponent sometimes people skip one they wanted to attack, allow a ‘go back button.’ It can cost more maybe, but that would be very nice.
- No “Share Replay” cool down, that one just doesn’t make any sense, I mean it’s already a short cool down time, just get rid of it. Our replays help our lower players get ideas for attacking a base defenses. But their not always able to stay on by the time our replay cool down is done.
- A new offensive spell that redirects troops (Dragons are so annoying).
- More Clan member levels. Elder and Co are just not enough. There needs to be more in between, sometimes I want to promote someone higher that Elder, but they’re just not ready for a Co Leader level yet. Co Leader gives a lot of power and trust, and needs to be last after several other steps.
- Clan member wanted adds. A new tab next to “Search Clans.” This tab is for Clans who are recruiting, instead of getting on the Global and dealing with morons, the Clan Wanted Adds would be very well received I believe. To post it cost gold, just like creating a clan would. Obviously leaders would want theirs posted at the top all the time, so let their be a cool down for when you can refresh your posting. And filter the adds by how often the clans war, trophy level, player level, *age, allow a description sort of like, well, the clan descriptions that are made when creating a new clan.
- A new character that is similar to the Wall Breaker, but goes after the Heroes, like a steal bomber or something, low health but high attack. Moves slow but is difficult to be detected, or he only remains undetected for a certain amount of time. Each upgraded level that time increases…
- Some people have requested a new Hero, a product of the King and Queen. Prince or Princess, or both. Only available after King and Queen both reach a certain level, and maybe the King and Queen “leave” for a little while to make, create, or bring home this character, however it would be best to word.
- New character, a Troll or something along the sorts, bigger than giant, favorite target is any. The Troll just rampages around wildly smashing anything in its way…including friendly troops! Need to be careful where you drop him. When the Troll attacks it smashes the ground with his fists, and if any troops are near by they sort of bounce up and down, for a second or two, or get knocked back a bit, jus like with the Mortars. Troll is most vulnerable to fire maybe…
- A way to search for a specific Chief name, not just clans
- A detailed breakdown of peoples player rating. Offense, defense, miscellaneous. That way you can how well balanced you are.
- A way to attack Clan Member, wouldn’t count for trophies or resources or anything, and we’d only be able to use the troops that specific member has unlocked/upgraded. This would allow leaders to practice on each others bases, and show lower members base weaknesses and attacking strategies.
- War Tie Breaker. One battle per clan, game provides troops, leader decides who attacks. Whoever gets most damage wins the tie breaker.
- Be able to select what you want to collect from Clan Castle, instead of collecting it all at once.
- Troop request for donations goes away after Castle gets 100% filled.
- A way to pause troop training
*You guy’s already probably have thought of this but PLEASE don’t ever allow gem sharing, kids will get talked into giving up their gems for ‘Co’ or something, or they’ll say, “you give me gems and i’ll let you in the clan.” Gems get donated and then the kid gets kicked out of clan after giving their gems, parents will get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off...it’ll cause a whole big mess, gems resemble real money…to messy.
