I have attacked many bases and seen my pekkas, dragons and heroes avoid the TH. How bout a troop that only goes after a TH, but isn't strong enough to destroy it without help from supporting troops. So once the path is cleared you send in the TH destroyer. Like lavahounds go for air defenses.
