You should add 1 more golem to the comp. It makes things a lot easier.
If you can get pekka in the cc, just make 2pekka.

And my gowiping experience at th9 w/ all maxed troops (for th9):

100% all th8s
2 star most th9
1-2 star some th10

He is practicing. How is it hilarious? That will be a staple attack for wars when he gets to TH9. Getting the basics of routing the DPS units to the core is the hardest part of any attack.

GoWipe at TH8 is no good. If in a war better use dragons or hogs.

You can 2 star TH9s with TH8 gowipe though, useful for pushing.

Its great for revenging.I revenged some TH9s and wrecked a TH7 that had full storages and collectors.
