[TH9s][TH10s]Really need you opinion, its a hard decision...

Hello everybody, I'm a maxed TH9 (defences, walls) that have neglected my heroes. Both of them are now lvl10 (going to lvl 11) and i really regret not upgrading them earlier. I knew I had to, but i used them at war/farming and never realised how fast i progressed until now that I have to take the decision to move (or not) to TH 10. Really i dont know what to do, I know its bad to have sleeping builders but for a reason im afraid to upgrade. So feel free to leave in a post your opinion and comments. Should I upgrade? Or should I stay and farm heroes to a certain lvl? Have you been in the same situation as I am now? What would you do?
(Sorry for any mistakes that I've made, I'm from Greece and English is not my mother language.)

Why is it a hard decision? Since Your walls and defenses are maxed you don't need to worry about losing out on alot of gold and elixir due to loot penalty. That is the main problem of rushing to TH10.

People here say dark elixir gets even better due to third drill and inferno towers but it is up to you if you want to go to TH10.

Upgrade them while upgrading your troops too.

I would say do heroes and the rest of your elixir upgrades.
heroes to lv15 minimum.

Definitely upgrade. I have more DE than I know what to do with at TH10 - you'll get them up in no time.

So you finished your lavas without getting too much DE as a by-product?

The way I look at it, you are going to upgrade your heroes eventually, so why not start now?

I was in the exact same situation as you. Had walls done, lab, and defenses but BK and AQ were both both between lv10-15 because I always wanted them for war and farming. I know some will disagree but I would would upgrade to TH10. Make sure you have gold and elixir storages completely full when the upgrade finishes so you can immediately buy one IT and upgrade lab/spell factory/drill.

DE is so much easier at TH10 to upgrade BK & AQ. You will notice a difference in gold and elixir though. It is harder and will take you time to adjust. Elixir is very difficult the first 1-2 months just because you have so many upgrades to do as a new TH10.

You are a good farmer and will adjust and do well. Your other choice is to stay at TH9 and get BK & AQ upgraded but have all those builders sleeping.

Why waste builder time?
However, if you do go up, leave those heroes alone for a while. Even at those levels they will really help with the enormous early elix grind required at the start. Rest is cake.

I went to 10 with skull walls and lvl 10 heros.

Loot penalty hasn't slowed me down even a little bit.... The cost of upgrades and the amount of raids that I need to do to get them has slowed me down a lot.

But I'm confident once I get the 240 camp, the maxxed WB and maxxed goblins it will all work itself out.

I also have ignored heros because I need them for wars and I use them as extra troops while looting often. I will most likely take my sweet time upgrading them because the amount of downtime I get when upgrading is NOT worth the added benefit of the upgrade as I don't intend to ever reach maxxed 10.

i may not be one to give you advice as you obviously take the old advice of "upgrade EVERYTHING" very seriously. But I'd of gone to 10 a long time ago in your shoes.

The lab is the true bottleneck.... My belief is keep the lab rolling at all costs!!!!

Hey buddy if you just short on DE and everything else is done move up to th10 now. You will get much more de there, be able to star at higher cups (loot bonus de), and get an extra pump. Also you will be wasting gold and elix by staying at th9. Good Luck Buddy.
