Farming DE as TH9

Hi all,

I'm a max (defenses and walls) TH9 and I'm currently farming at CI (around 2500) trophies.
All I care about is DE since I don't need gold or lix (except for building armies).

Currently I'm using loonian (24 + 50) as troop combo but I find the DE drying up here pretty fast since the end of the boosts. Plus it's really hard attacking those hard bases if their DE is in the core and you don't have a hero available (I have them upgrading both non stop) to back you up.

Would it be better to drop to gold leagues and gibarch loaded TH8's or better to stay here?
I have the 300DE league bonus here but that doesn't cover the cost for my minis..

Bit lost atm.

Thoughts?

Drop down to gold 1 - C3 and use barch to raid de. Im doing the same and my de storage is full atm.

Go to M3/2 and farm. Plenty of DE here and that's were I am

So is mine lol and my BK only finishes tomorrow night. Will gem him free this evening when shield runs out.
How much do you usually go for?

Not really an option as I told before: no heroes and barely collector raids + DE is heavily protected.

I go for 1000+ de with barch and i also keep lightning spells so i can zap de storages.

your farming pretty high considering that you don't have any heroes available...C1 you start to see master 3 villages

my advice is to hover around high C3 at around 2100 - 2200 cup range...too much nexting at gold league to find DE as many of the bases are often TH7s or TH8s...in C3 you see new or rushed TH9's more often and maybe a couple TH10's that are rushed and kinda inactive so their pumps are usually full....check it out and update us!!! :)

I don't care how much DE zappin is shunned upon but hey you gotta do what you gotta do...when I was a TH9 I did nuff DE zappin to get my heroes up...now my both heroes are maxed and I got a HH of 7.5 million...zap dem DE storages bro!!!

when you reach TH10 and can more comfortably raid other TH10s with your regular army then you can stop zapping lol

Yeah, I was in CI because with the boosts there were huge raids there (4k +).
Now with the boosts ended most raids are like 1,5 to 2k and I feel like it's just not worth it to waste spells and a whole loonian army for that.

Of course there are other raids (3k+ 4k+ etc) here but that would require a full army, multiple spells and at least one hero to reach the DE tank.

You are talking to the wrong guy lol, I absolutely DESPISE zappers and consider them the lowest of the lowest.

Nothing personal!

I say you should keep saving DE and keep using loonion and stay in C1 :D

But balloonion should get you to the DE storage if you use spells..
