Walls

Guys how do i upgrade my walls in the fastest way possible? im a newborn th10 my defences are average but my walls are only lv6. It makes my base look like a joke. I cant seem to upgrade walls.. it costs 200k per walls and there are 250 walls. just thinking of the gold needed to get full lv7 or even lv8 walls gives me a headache.. how do you upgrade your walls quickly? Thanks :)

its a bit harder as th10 because of loot penalty, the loot from th7 and 8 are worse for us.

stay in the 1800 cup range and farm gold there

this is the best way for you to go :)

Try to farm as much as possible to keep all but 1 builder working and dump your remaining gold into walls. Good luck.

Easy - follow these 4 steps

1. Hop into your delorean (make sure flux capacitor is in working order)
2. set date to 1/7/2014
3. Hit 88 mph
4. upgrade walls before upgrading townhall



Seriously - those walls are a joke. Wait until they are 1,3 or 4 million a piece.

200k isn't too bad, just finished my lvl 7 walls as a th9 yesterday. If collectors are maxed they will produce a wall every 10 hours and if you are in c2 or up with bonus you should get enough for a wall every raid. Good luck and keep at it. It goes faster than you think.

Normally I'd say max gold upgrades first then do walls but since your walls are low for your level; save a builder for walls only and upgrade walls anytime you have the gold.

why don't you guys just help the guy instead of keep tellin him about the mistake he made? not everyone has the proper guidance when starting their clash experience...influence comes from the people your around and if his clan members are inexperienced they may have just encouraged him to get the TH10 cuz it looks cool lol.

OP, since they disabled players from being able to use elixirs on walls now till your basically a TH9 and already have completed all skulls as a TH8 then you would obviously need to upgrade your walls with gold only. I assume your troops aren't that strong neither so as others have mentioned, your farming journey now will be a lot harder than it would've been at a lower TH lvl because of the penalty, but in no means is it impossible.

take steps to focusing your elixirs on upgrading your farming army as quick as you can. don't focus on upgrading dragons or wizards cuz they not gonna help you fix your wall problem. upgrade your barbs and archers with your elixirs and with the gold dump it on your walls. I suggest you give upgrading defenses a break for a while until you finish your purple walls so that you can bring your base up to par to be a semi-decent TH10.

a fix for your problem isn't gonna happen overnight. I know a couple clashers who successfully farmed all purple walls from pink in 1-3 weeks depending on if they used barracks boost or not, however, they dedicated all their loot towards just that. its possible if you do the same and try to do as much farming of gold per day as you possibly can

Thank you for your advice! :) I will use my other 4 builders for elixir based upgrades while 1 will be in stand by for the walls. As for my troops I would say they are decent(?) I have lv 7 barbs archers, lv 6 balloon and other troops near max ( excluding dark troops) :) I just don't have luck in finding abondoned bases :( I'm in crystal 2 at the moment

ok great...u already got the troops...now work on that great plan you came up with...cease all upgrades needing gold and use all gold on walls ONLY and use the rest of your builders to do elixir upgrades ONLY as you said...

not sure how many abandoned bases you will find in Crystal Leagues.
Could be wrong but you might want to drop some trophies to get those. Plus with your troop levels you should be able to clean house in some of the lower trophy levels.

Drop down to Gold and there will be more collector bases there. Hit them only for their collectors only, regardless of what TH they are. Expanding the least troops for only gold collectors would yield you the highest gold per hour, thereby helping you level up your walls faster.

A separate point would be to get some walls up to skulls first, which would then allow you to dump your excess elixer (assuming you have maxed out elixer upgrades) into walls.

Hopefully that helps. It's going to be a painful couple of months to get there, but as a previous poster pointed out, it's nowhere as painful as doing walls when they cost 1-4 mil a pop.

Thanks for your advise :) However i find crystal is better as it is the first league to offer de as a loot bonus. :)

Then drop to 1900-2000 trophies, then you will be offered some of the same bases as gold1 but still keep the league bonus

To be frank, just upgrade them to lvl7 and let 'em be. You are three th's too late...concentrate on troops, buildings and having fun.

Ganesh, I am in the same concern you are in. Low level walls mid defenses but good troops. Best I can say is just be patient and work on them. I am 140 walls to lvl 7 now and working my way through them. The wall breaker difference from lv 7 to 9 is minimal (2 lv 5 wall breakers to blow up), so I may go back to defenses after lv 7 or just jump individual walls 7-9 right away vs. doing all lv 8 skulls.

I did drop to Gold, and thinking I want to be around Gold 1 or Crystal leagues. They seem to be the best for farming straight gold now.

Also, I am not a hardcore farmer like some on this forum. Only raiding a couple times a night. So it is looking like it will take the rest of January to finish the walls to lv 7, collectors and raids. Good luck.

Yea :( the only reason why i didnt upgrade my walls is because whenever i upgrade something, i want to see progress.. for example a cannon from lv 10 to lv 11 there is a significant change in it. Whereas walls i have 250 to upgrade...hahaha i guess that was my mistake.. but its still no too late to fix it :) My plan for now is to max lv 8 walls then from there i guess i will do a mix of both which is maxing defences and dumping the remainder gold into walls

Thanks for you suggestion! i appreciate it :) However its not a race its just a steady progression so i guess i can still upgrade my walls while upgrading other things

Do you have level 7 barbs and archers?

To get all your walls to level 7, you could farm the league bonus in M3 with barch. Boosted, you could raid aprox. every 5 mins, and upgrade a wall every 1 - 2 raids.

I'm gonna give up on walls after lvl 8. After that the prices are absolutely insane.

Once you get to lvl 8 and your lix upgrades are done you can dump all that elixir into them :)

yea i thought about that but its quite hard to get to M3 with barch since im not used to barch-ing but from the time i started this thread, ive made 65 lv 7 walls :D which i think is amazing progress(?) haha i guess i'll stay in C2/C3 for the time being. Thanks for your suggestion ! :D

I look at getting more and more wall upgrades done as progress. Finish one whole compartment = progress. Get a second done = progress. Get a third....and so on. Especially with lavas, the more I add the cooler my base looks. It just depends on how you look at it. When I think of walls, I think of one GIGANTIC upgrade that takes the entire amount of time you spend at that TH level. You just have to establish some workarounds while you work on upgrading other buildings.

Some great advice on here. I cant really add much to what has been said other than work hard and stay active.

I was also a bit of a noob when I went to townhall 10 and had level 7 walls! I rushed as my clan mates were upgrading and I felt I was getting left behind (my th9 defence was max expect tesla and traps). It's now just over a year since I got th10 and I have maxed all my defence (except traps), and am working on level 10 walls at 3million a piece. I currently have 81 done.

So my advice is to not give up, it will take hard work and you will fell like and get called a noob, but you will get there if you stay active and work hard! :)

Just keep farming a lot per day, and try to attack as soon as your troops are done. I've done 7 Lego walls today who. Are 1 million a wall... These walls will be a pain to max.
