Future of clashing with 3D buildings, where you can rotate viewing the whole village by
the pinch and zoom effect with 360 degrees sideways.
Would be a nice new feature and interesting view for attacks at any angle.
The feature could be turned off in settings to what we have now as standard 2D mode.

No. No no no no no.
Many original Ipods or Ipads or Iphones have no support for 3D. So that means I can't play anymore if this were to happen. (I don't have alot of money btw.)
Talked about this idea before. It would be neat. :cool:
They would have to buy, or make/code, a 3D engine to run it on; and don't expect any new features, besides mostly client side graphic changes, since it would have to be at least completely compatible with the current '2½D' game. Right now it is just a flat field, with 2D graphic spirits, posed at a set angle of view, with minor ballistic physics for shot effects.
Personally, I hope they make it as an official add-on to the original game. That way players can have the option of staying with the current, trimmed down, very device compatible, app; or the more high end, larger, more graphic processing intense display.
(I had this written, but had to get back to the game before I timed out and got raided. This wasn't a response to sylveonzmushi, even though it does directly address thier issue. Just worked out that way.)

All it is is rotating the village. It's also for in the future when technology changes, not now.
All those devices you mentioned can run 3D, it's all in the programming code and software to do so.
Even the basic old iphone 4 is still much more powerful in graphics than you think it is cause it's a bit old.
Have you seen some of the 3D game apps out there? Sure the game won't have the polygon count you see in the video ads of CoC, but with some optimization, and hard work, you can have a 3D Clash of Clans display that still looks very professional.Quote:

The only issue I see is not IF it can be done, but if Supercell believes it is WORTH IT TO do; and if so, how much effort and quality? They can only put in so many man/hours into a project, since they very likely have so many other things going on.
Might be cool, but I'm enjoying the game just the way it is right now.

It would be configured in settings either 2D or 3D. Kind of like playing Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 vs PS3 that now has first person enable/disabled preference.Quote:
