When you get disconnected while attacking and reconnect you can have an option to continue your attack!
In what world, has any game disconnected and was able to pick up where you last started
Supercell says they wont do that because if you get disconnected you have to reload the game which means the attack is over and chances are you lost and they won't let you redo the attack or anything like that because the trophy balance would be off because the guy you lost the attack to got your trophies and they cant give trophies for free or take away trophies like that
In other words, continue the attack an hour later and seriously annoy the other player by kicking them off randomly while they may have been trophy pushing. An absolute no.
What is ruled out?
So I start an attack and the phone rings. So I disconnect.
its my buddies and they want to know if I want to go hit some clubs. Sure I do. So we have a great time and I get in late and I am tired so I crash. The next morning I get up, have some coffee and once I feel awake and alert I grab my device and got back in to finish out the attack I started last night.
What happens with the other guys base while I am out partying? Is it on hold?
I think it is possible if you still have time to attack and you still have troops and it means you did not win or lose yet
If you are talking about within the three minutes it depends on the connections and such. It is possible to reconnect to your attack already in progress. But the timer will still have been running so if you are a minute into your attack and then take a minute to get back on you will only have the final minute left to deploy the rest of your troops to do what they can in the shorter time. (which is often not enough) It does not wait for you.
In a recent thread very very very similar to this, I had a discussion with some other people on how to add a way for people to continue their attacks after being disconnected without allowing ghosting or allowing it to be exploitable.
I would paste it here, but the discussion spans over many posts, so you can check it out at link: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...solve-ghosting
Basically, we decided that the best solution would be to upgrade every ISP in the world so people have better Internet connection. (yup, tells you how exploitable these features are )
