TH8 solution (NOT putting back the lvl8 wall elixir upgrade)

This would be a terrible idea for th8 attackers, LVL 9 walks have 4000hp so we would need more wall breakers to break through, a total of 3 are required for one layer, plus another 3 just in case, already the 200 army camp space sücks cuz we can't hold high numbers of strong troops and enough wall breakers, now we need more wall breakers which results in less troops, u know wat comes with LVL 9 walls at th9? An AQ, higher hero lvls, lvl 7 army camps, and lvl 6 wall breakers, all these make LVL 9 walls bearable on attack, but not for th8's. It would be ridiculously hard for us th8's who r pushing or attacking in wars. For example, I use GoWiPe and can't fit enough troops into the stragety, I need 2 golems and 3 PEKKAS if I want to atleast 2 star a high LVL th8, I could only fit in 12 wiz, 5 arch, and 6 wb, now I would have to carry 9 wb. Which would make me lose 2 wiz, which is pretty bad, I need all the PEKKAS, golems, and wiz I can get for atleast a 2 star, and now I need to give it up for some extra wb cuz of the new high LVL walls. I say NO!

A: Try using simple air raids those easily get you stars
B: Th9s also get level ten walls wich require 3 maxed out wallbreakers to break

A: I use both air raids and ground raids, but since walls R the main focus on this thread I was talking about ground raids
B: th9's get an extra 20 housing space so they can fit an extra 2-3 wall breakers in and still keep a high number of strong troops, such as 3 or 4 PEKKAS.

I like this idea.
It costs an incredible amount to max put your th9 walls from a maxed th8, almost ten times the cost from a maxed th7 to a maxed th8's walls.

I like the different line of thinking.... but no freaking way.

This would make getting L9 walls absurdly easy for TH8s. Contrary to the many TH8 complainers on here, getting L8 walls with gold is not super difficult. But now if you give them the incentive to then upgrade to L9 walls? Well I'll bet that WILL make it worth their while.

That would be SEVERELY punishing any current TH9 who doesn't have L9 walls because now you've made it much easier for a TH8 to get them than it would be a current TH9. TH8s have way more excess elixir, so dropping 1M per wall would make it a joke. They'd have every incentive to stay at TH8 to max their walls.

So now in one fell swoop, you've made TH8s more powerful against TH9s AND you've just recreated the resource dump that crippled the economy in the first place.

This is not true at all I had MAX elixar storages outside my base along with my town hall well away from any defenses and a th 9 attacked me and still went for my gold ( only 125 k was available) I'm close to a maxed out th 8 and always have Tons of elixar. I agree with letting th8 be able to upgrade to level 9 walls.

I disagree. Most th9s don't have legos anyways. Also you say that your archer towers cost 1.5 mil and 2.5, but even though th9 has just on level it costs more than both of those combined. Giving lvl 9 walls to th8 would severely nerf th8 attacks (and use only air strats is not a valid counter argument to that). The point of the game is to have varied fun attacks and slowly grow stronger, not to never lose loot that your not using anyways and force everyone to use ony air attacks.
So no way. Even if i was th8 i would be against this

I'm a th8, I'm all for stuff that benefits me but come on. Doesn't anyone else think there is enough to bloody do at th8? Its depressing to me thinking how long I've spent at th8 and still have to max walls, no way there should be the added pain of upgrading walls to lv9 at 1 mill a wall. I think the reason they do it at th9 is cause th9 has pretty much all troops, maxes quite a few troops and can generally handle themselves against anyone, so people feel they can chill at th9 longer and take the time to max th9. I realize you wouldn't have to max walls, but still, I don't think this is a good idea at all.

well in attacking a maxed out th8 is kind of easy at the moment with the hero abilities so it would probably be as easy as it was before the hero abilities, assuming that a person would have actually upgraded all his walls to level 9

I'm glad this won't happen..You don't max town hall 8 then go to 9 just for them to say oh well now you can get this at 8...i understand the 2nd drill cool whatever....but this really doesn't benefit anyone but town hall 8s who want to dump elixir into walls...again....and break the economy for higher level players....again....but hey what do I know
