What Do You Look For When Raiding?

Sorry that I have made SO MANY threads today. Please don't complain, I am rather curios/helpful (at least that's what I think, haha)

As I see MANY people complaining about loot, I wanted to know, what are your expectations? What do you look for when you raid?

It is very weird how I saw some guy in my friend's clan whining because he could only find a 350K 350K loot and not 400K 400K! This sounded pretty stupid to me, but since I know the forumers are rather smarter than the non-forumers, I came here to ask the same question!

100k/100k with zzzz builders.

TH8 with 200k gold, 200k elix. Anything else is a bonus. Happy for storage or collector raids.

Dark Elixir I Want To Find: don't care. only looking for gold at the moment

Trophies I Want To Find: don't care. not trophy hunting

Loot Placement (Storage/Dead Base/Any): prefer collectors obviously but i want the storages grouped and not spread apart which will make it hard for my army to get it all. i can get to most storages, but prefer the golds all on one side.

PS - i'm finishing TH8 and just farming skulls. it's pretty easy for me to find bases that fit my criteria.

Im not specific at all im a chilled farmer. If I see a decent amount of any of the three recources I'll attack. If it has decent amounts of all three then bonus. By the way i farm with barch which is probably why, they army cost jàçk to make.

As a TH10 i chase the loot bonus in crystal 1 - BARCH anything i can 50% without heroes so every TH8 i come across and any poorly designed TH9, ideally i prefer to next less than 5 times to max my return. Loot in the bases is a bonus. Those random gold 1 matches that keep appearing are amazingly appreciated ha

Well, I'm currently between m3 and m2, then bonus is very good, I need to up my heroes and walls, but with the bonus that I get I can do walls, just need to be careful dont lose raids

Army comp as this is important to what you look for Barch or BAM if Balloonion than I look for more.

Gold - ideally coming away with 150 elixir minimum
Elixir - ideally coming away with 150k minimum
DE depends if I need it - but ideally minimum of 1k if Im not looking for it specifically. Nearer 2k when I do.

Trophies - not important unless i need to stay in range for bonus. I would rather just have the raids

Loot placement: any so long as the offer loot. I would rather a mix but storage raids would be great so long as they are consistent and I can train a decent army & cover its cost.

Normally I will hit any baseball its got a lot of one resource.

The only exception to this is a th snipe

Everyone seems to have pretty low expectations, yet there are still all those that say they are dying of nexters finger.
On advice of 3 clanmates have now dropped to C3 for first time in months.

Still finding 300+ total loot in under 50 nexts. 170k less in bonus, but virtually no spell use, hero damage, and finally been able to put king down cos dont need him to scrape wins or core max th10s for those 600k + bonus scores.

Think we need some replies from the perennial whingers.

If I'm boosting I'll hit bases 100k or higher in resources. If I'm not boosting then I'll hit bases 200k or higher.

I pretty much barch any base I can win against, for loot bonus.

Rest is a good bonus :) Collector raids of 200K each is awesome

Always attack bases with 200k of each nothing less

(Please note I will often take anything with lots of gold but barely any elixir or de)

Elixir: 200k-300k

Dark Elixir: Any unless I need it i will look for 400+

Trophies: Any

Loot placement: Inactive bases (loot in collectors)

I look for bases with 200k of gold and elixir each, and the DE doesn't matter much. If I'm specifically farming DE, I'll only raid for 1k+. I'll take less than those amounts depending on the difficulty of the base or if I have to use all my troops. I mainly go for storage raid with Giants and archers but I'll take any collector raids I can find.

Gold: Over 150k
Elixir: Over 150k
DE: Over 200
Trophies: Any, as long as it isn't an amount like 1 lol

Complaining about 350k of each!!!!!! If I found that, I would praise Supercell and thank them for being so awesome!

Indeed, that Master One loot bonus spoiled me for a week then it was back to the grind :rolleyes:

Why are they a bad farmer if they go for easy cheap loot they can get fast and go on to the next attack? Isn't farming "getting resources as efficently (in time and costs) as possible". Using a 140K army PLUS spells isn't farming :)

Not currently trophy pushing, but when trophy pushing you should be able to guess (cover army cost...)

If you're farming with barch/gibarch/golbarch or whatever combo of the basic level 1 troops, your goal is to get in and out with minimal troops and max loot (whatever it is, however you get it) so you can turn around and raid again. If you farm the bonus, easy 50% bases. If you are farming a trophy range, easy access to loot - collectors for low numbers, stores if its fat and its worth burning the whole army.

This is all pretty much farming 101, right? - you do 4-8 raids an hour or 16-24 if you're boosted, and you try to grind up a big pile of whatever in a couple hours, then spend it and go back to real life...

Easy Base: 150,000+ (but will take less if elixir is high)
Hard Base: 300,000+

Easy to Moderate Base: 250,000+
Hard Base: 350,000+

Trophies I Want To Find: Mostly look to see if I can 2 star the base. If I can I generally don't worry too much about this. But once I break into champs I try and find something above 12 as a total offering

Loot Placement (Storage/Dead Base/Any): I prefer vault bases. I'll also take bases that have the loot circling the core. I have gone away from dead bases but obviously will rip them to pieces if I find them. I will attack a base with really spread out loot only if 1) I can 3 star or 2) Loot is so high a fraction of it is still good.


Yeah, I'll 3 star easy loot for a small profit plus my league bonus. Otherwise I really want to see those totals pushing the maximum. I raid at Th10 and I need it to be worth the time/resources invested.

I'm a maxed th10. Walls and heroes included. I took 100k multiple times. Farming isnt just big loot, it comes down to being as efficent as possible. I've tried multiple strats and it of course the amount of loot I settled for varies, but with BAM, which is what I used mostly for walls, 100k + bonus every few minutes is very efficent :)
