How it is even possible so many times is beyond me, but my clan has had several draws after war. The issue i have with the draw system is that right below the score the number of attacks is also kept track of, which in my opinion should have an equal, if not a scale tipping effect on the outcome of the victory. So far every time we've had a draw, we were able to get the same score as our opponents with far fewer attacks. Thanks for your time and consideration, great game! Okk!
I can see some sense and logic to what you are saying. but also it could be argued that the clan that attacked more was the better run clan. Unused attacks are generally not considered a good thing.
In fact, I gotta ask. If you guys did have attacks left you could have used, how are you letting it end in a draw?
I disagree, there are always less opponents than attacks, so if we strategically scout and successfully execute our attacks, there will always be a lower number of attacks. Ex, it's possible to get 30 stars with just 10 attacks opposed to getting it with more.
Not all attacks that are left are capable of getting the remaining stars, most times this happens we've gotten at least 90% of the available stars.

Is that what happens? You always get the maximum amount of stars with half your attacks? If that were the case your remaining attacks could be used to loot even the lowest target for 1 star. But in your subsequent post, you also claimed that your remaining attackers couldn't get any more stars so they quit without trying. You also said that you end up tied many times, so why you would excuse players for quitting is beyond me.Quote:

This statement makes me think you have guys that drop ranks for easy stars. Let your lower levels earn some stars too and your uppers take on more equal opponents and you shouldnt have as many draw issues.Quote:

We just came out of a nerve breaking 64-63 win (25 member clans) so let me explain why there are draws:
1) matchmaking.
Don't know how SC does it, but we are almost matched TH wise. 3 TH10, 10 TH9, 10 TH8 and 2 TH7. if everybody attack their own level (mirror), we serve equal chances of doing 3 stars
2) battle tactics
We do mirror on first attack then clean up on the second. 90% of the time, the second attack is on a weaker opponent to insure 3 stars.
Our opponent did roughly the same thing. Yet, some attacked lower on their first to insure 3 stars (dragons).
Most of the clans attack from bottom up. Resulting in the same result as our second wave clean up.
So end result, every TH8-7 is 3 starred as they should be.
Around 1/2 of the TH9 are 3 starred.
Other 1/2 TH9 get 2 stars.
TH10 are usually 2 stars.
How did we win?
They didn't attack me (0 star) and we 3 starred their top TH9 with our TH10s (because we succeeded in 2 starting on the first try their TH10). Even if we only did one star on their 9th player, we came out on top (barely).
You have to push yourselves to get out of draws. Don't accept only 2 stars on a TH9. Don't accept only 2 stars on weak TH10. Somebody did 100% on a TH9 and I still gave him advices because he won with 4 seconds left on the clock and around 3-4 troops left.
And make your base even better each time.
During the last hour, 2 of our members got 12 attacks (lowest available TH9 and weakest available TH10). Resulting in 0 new star. 0 star on 12 attacks. We did 1 new star in 6 attacks, so we are not that much better. Still we won :)
I think draws are the proof that matchmaking is sometimes good. And it makes it fun for wars.
