Help! How to keep your gold?

I'm fairly new here to this forum, and I'm somewhat new to CoC, i'm a level 35 with a level 6 Town Hall. I've been getting destroyed fairly easily by higher levels at least ten levels above or the same level as me. Easily raiding my hard earned gold.

SO I came here for help/tip on how to contain your gold by having a stronger defense.

Defense Buildings:
3 lvl 6 archer towers
3 lvl 6 canons
1 lvl 1 Wiz Tower
1 lvl 2 Mortar 1 lvl 1 Mortar

150 limit wall

Farming Buildings:
3 lvl 10 Gold Mine 2 Lvl 4 Gold Mine
2 Lvl 9 Gold Storage
2 lvl 9 Elixir Collect
2 lvl 8 Elixir Storage

Army:

3 Barracks
3 Camps

2 Builder's Hut

Well first, whats your clan and name in game? Also you could easily just spend your resources on walls and defenses as your earn it. But id need to see your base to know how to improve it.

Post your base. And since you're getting killed by high level players, your trophy count is prolly too high.

You're in a real vulnerable place in the game. I was equally frustrated there because you're going to get picked on by a lot of TH7s who have a lot more toys and armies to use on you. Post your base and we can give you tips.

I just grazed the bottom of Silver 1. I have 1016 trophies, so I don't think it's usually that is it? Or I think some higher levels usually lower their trophy to farm and target lower levels? I have no idea.

Yeah, I have no idea how to setup my base and I've been going through searches such as level 6 TH best defense, and it's pretty hard to copy or simulate what they have going since every play style is different. I'll be posting up a screen shot to give you guys a better look. Thanks!

1000 is ok for a th6. Take a look at these th6 layouts.

frankly, the very best defense at your TH level is spending all of your resources.

your upgrades are so cheap (it may not seem like it, but 400K for an upgrade is really nothing in the long run). if you farm for upgrades in a single sitting or a couple sittings, you can minimize how hard you get hit.

no one, not even bully TH7s, will raid your base for no resources -- particularly if you are low on gold.

if your play schedule doesn't allow you that flexibility, i'd recommend hitting TH7 asap for the new toys/defenses.

Thanks! At least I have something to base what my base can look. Not entirely copying them, but improvise on what I have. Because I don't even have my second WIZ tower yet. :/
