Lightning Spell fail

I dropped a Lightning spell next to a Dark Elixir storage to take out a group of L6 Wizards. The spell practically landed on them and didn't kill ANY of them. As you can see, it did about 50% damage to four of them.

BTW, my Lightning spell is lvl 6.

Any plans to modify the Lightning spell so it actually works?

The lightning spell is working as intended. The spell contains 6 bolts at 1/6 of the total power as per the in game description. A lv 6 lighting spell has 6 bolts doing 75 damage each.

Only the first bolt will land exactly where you direct it, the rest fall randomly nearby.

You can tell by your screenshot they were injured but still have a good half of health left, so only 1 of 6 bolts actually hit them.

Wizards will often survive, if you are really concerned about Wizards take 2 bolts to give you a better chance of finishing them.
