Opponent is always online?

SO...I have wanted to payback someone who raided my base, and no matter what time of day I try to attack they show as always online, doesn't matter the time of day.

This seems highly unlikely to me and I did a brief search online and it shows there are apps to make it so your account never goes offline.

Is this the case and if so is this an acceptable practice in Clash of Clans?

This used to be a huge problem for supercell, but a couple updates ago they added it so that if you are inactive for X amount of time, or active for a really long amount of time (hours and hours!) it automatically kicks you off! This should help :) Clash on!

There is absolutely NO way someone can say online over 6 hours despite what people trying to take your money will tell you.
