Looting gold still a problem

Finding gold has been a huge problem since the last patch, I figured maybe once the dust settled from the release of the latest update that gold would be somewhat back to normal levels. However... since the last patch, gold has been very hard to come by. Finding a base between trophy ranges of 1300-2000 with more than 100k gold has been tough. And the bases that have 150+ have a th9, 2 xbows etc. I hope this latest update addresses some of these issues. It's not fun playing this game anymore, it's nearly impossible to get ahead when the army you build and spells you use costs more than what you're looting from bases and more than what your able to pump out. Not everyone should have to spend $$ to get ahead.

I'm TH8 and raiding gold seems fine.

Elixir is a bit tight though.

The real problem here isnt the loot, its that your looking for loot in the wrong place, 1300-2000 is trophy hunters range try 1100-1200 instead.

hey 1050-1100 is quite a sweet spot for good loot lots of 200k+ raids there also have you considered sub 200 i do great there :)

What TH level are you?

I'm TH09 and i farm around 1600-1800, it was hard the first weeks after the patch but after that it was back to normal, for some reason I'm having a hard time finding gold this last week but it wasn't terrible.

I had the same trouble until i dropped down in the 1000-1200 range. I don't attack anyone with less than 100k, plenty of 250k opportunities if you have the patience. I'd say I usually search through about two dozen bases before I find a victim

Try the 1500 range, been netting 200K to 300K , been there since last week, here's a pic of my base

Wow thats odd bc thats where i farm and i find great loot there. Sometimes you have to hit nexted and not take the 1st 100k loot keep looking i can spend 30 to 40 k to find 300 k if you are Patient.

OP, change your troop comp. if you are spending more than you raid, I'd say no spells, gob, archer, and a few WB's. I find plenty at 1600 as a TH 9.

I also struggled to find good loot today, often taking over 10 mins each time to find 150-200k gold (expensive to find!). I'm TH9, 1600-1800 trophies. A few days ago I was totally making a killing at that trophy range. FYI I raid about 12hrs a day, every 20-30 mins.

TH9 here and gold was rough for the first few days to maybe a week after last update. Ever since then, no problems.

It's true. Loot is harder. I occasionally find high loot bases from bases that are abandoned because of full mines and collectors, but overall yes loot is down. For me elixer is harder because I spend so much more on my army than searching for matches. The worst part of the game now is searching for matches. I waste too much time and energy searching for matches...

I have no idea why everyone is complaining about loots at th 8/9. Ive been at TH 8 for 10 days, and i already skulled 36 walls, while keeping all 5 builder busy at all times. I consistently raid an average around 1.5 million per hour.

If you raided every ten minutes it would still mean 250k gold per battle.

I think he means gold+elixir.

At least with the new update, we can call B.S. a lot easier to people that claim to raid million+ per hour, every hour by saying "Post your attack log and replays!"

This is what our clan calls a gold rush, must gold per hour without using gems. Keep in mind my total gold per hour is not even in the top 15 of our clan. Also i found that making 1m at 1000+ trophies also easy, but i make more sub 200.

Ah sub 200, it explains it all. I must try it sometimes. Though I'm doing totally fine in 1200 trophies, I've upgraded 100 skull walls in two weeks now.

how do you get that much so low down dont you just see lvl ones down there ?

What army composition do you use for farming gold? I use either barb/archer/wallbreaker or giant/barb/archer/goblin/wallbreaker, and i get around 800 k every hour of hardcore farming ;)

Yeah 800k per hour seems more legit to me. I use 10-13 giants, 8-11 wallbreakers and rest goblins and archers evenly.

Average, 30-60k. Sometimes you can get 100k+. The goal is to loot at least 3k per every gob.

I'm TH 8 and farm between 1400-1600 and loots have been better than ever for me. Lately I've been finding tons of 200K+ bases. Lots of empty bases with tons in the mines and collectors.

I don't think you've been looking hard (long) enough because I have never had any issue finding $200k + gold each every turn between 1000 and 1500 trophies.

This might be hard for some to understand - but some of us are unable to find good loot - 4 idle builders.

Before you start telling me range - Im TH8 - I have looked from 900 up to 1500. I have no luck finding loot

I just don't see how that's possible...we are all playing the same game with the same matchmaking. Everyone in my clan that farms has no problem finding good resources.

The game isn't being partial...it's just all in your strategy.

No thas not true u can loot about 1.5 min an hour in either coin or elixi not Combined if u boost troops. When i boost troops and i am farming i better be getting about 1 to 1.5 min an hour. That means i should be looting every 3 mins.

I'm a TH7 farming at between 1300-1400 and usually don't have any problems finding gold in the 100-200K range. I actually alternate between trophy hunting and farming depending upon whether or not I have any free builders and how far up my trophy count is - don't like to get too much higher than 1400. I've dropped down as low as 1200 and found good hunting down there too.

It can also depend where you live, because im pretty sure it matches you with people in your region so youre less likely to lose connection. People always say loot is better at night but seeing as night one place can be middle of day at another country, that means loot should "be better" at different time periods of different people, if it pairs you with international opponents more often. If loot is good at night in u.s. lets say, and its also gets better at night in Australia, those periods don't happen at the same moment, since they aren't happening at the same moment (time difference, us night is Australia in middle of day) it shows that the whole loot is better at night thing only makes sense uniformly across the globe if you are paired with people in your region. And if youre paired with people in youre region more often, your region may not have as many players, so loot may not be as good. That would explain why tiny is have problems.

The loot is out there. If you like spending lots of time hitting next. When I get a lucky base it is because the mines and collectors are full. Its the exception not the norm. This is an observation not a complaint. It is definately harder. Harder than what? Harder than before!

It's worse with every update but you can still find loots.
