Uncensor Global Chat (See Why)

Well...our first amendment of the Constitution of the United States specifically states that we have the right to the freedom of speech. Censoring our freedom of speech is a direct violation to the constitution and I'm surprised that you have not been sued yet. I'm not trying to intimidate you but making a point for the people who wants to enjoy the game. Also, several times where a person wants to express his mind but gets censored every step of the way, that's just silly. We have the power to report, mute, and ignore that person. Supercell should consider removing this censorship. HOWEVER, cursing and swearing should be turned on or off in the settings menu. Some people appear to enjoy the action and some people don't.

I suggest you add a feature regarding age appropriate globals and globals for the adults. This could be modified in the Settings menu.

While I absolutely support your right to free speech. This is a game for people all over the world. Supercell has every reason to implement a filter. In fact it's absolutely necessary.

Please take quick note of the highlighted words.

Supercell is not Congress much less an American Company. Even IF the United States Constitution applied in this situation, it would be useless when trying to apply it to a FINNISH (County of Finland) company.

Private citizens are censored all the time, in private situations. You cannot come into my home and say whatever you want, you will be removed from the premises. If you don't, I can have you arrested. Did I just violate your free speech? No, because your rights end where mine begin, and mine begins at PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Supercell owns the game, owns the server and has the right to dictate behavior they see fit within the boundaries of their property. You are not forced on their property and can leave at any time.

There wouldn't be a single lawyer in this country, even first year law student, who would consider taking on your case but feel free to try if you'd like. They may do it just for your $10,000 non-refundable retainer fee.

The first amendment prevents the government from shutting down dissent or to silence your grievances towards government actions and policies but does not protect you from being a jack ♥♥♥♥ anywhere, any time.

You have no right civil, constitutional, or as a living person to any form of speech on a company's owned server/forum/game/etc. They have every right as well as a moral and financial responsibility to make sure that the content on THEIR systems is conducive to the entertainment of the customers they want to encourage to participate.

If they were trying to silence your voice in public domain then you would have a leg to stand on. The freedom of speech does not grant you the right to curse in a video game.

Im not going to waste time repeating what other have said is the fundamental flaw in your logic, instead im going to point out that you managed to type this entire post, in which you expressed your opinion , without using a single banned word. Proving that you have the ability, if not the willingness, to communicate with the rest of the world in a socially acceptable Manner. You do not need to swear to speak you mind and if in your real life such behavior is allowed then do your swearing there. When on supercelll servers i suggest you take advantage of the opportunity supercell is providing to broaden your vocabulary and Develope interpersonnal skills.

I also live in these United States of America and I feel compelled to assure those reading this from other countries that we are not all confused about what freedom of speech means and hope you will judge us accordingly.

To the OP, to test your therory about freedom of speech might i suggest you go to the local police station and cuss out the first officer you see, then come back and let us know how it went..



edit..... After posting I noticed you are from Texas so I thought you should know the law in Texas before you go swearing at a cop. Apparently the State of Texas is also censoring you....
