The Wall-Elixir-Loot Problem

Hi, I wanted to dicuss with you the Wall-Elixir-Loot problem.

When the update (which allowed players to upgarde level 6 walls and higher with elixir) this was such an amazing thing. It doubled the amount of walls a player can upgrade. For example, If I managed to get 200k gold and elixir from a successful raid, I'll be able to upgrade 2 walls (level 6 walls) not one.
This was double-edged weapon as they say. It was an advantage for players who are concentrating on upgarding their walls and disadvantage for players who want to farm for Elixir and upgrade things with elixir.

Now, you can only upgrade walls with elixir if they are atleast level 8 and you want to upgrade them to level 9.
now things have changed. Players who want to upgarde walls can upgrade less walls. Add to that if these players have done all their elixir upgrades, they have almost nothing to do with their elixir!!!
For me, I am maxed Town Hall 8 except for walls. I have done my elixir upgrades (troops, laboratory, barracks...) I have full elixir storages (6001000) and I can't collect any loot from Elixir Collectors. All I can do is watch my Elixir get stolen, more than 300k elixir per raid!!! and when I log onto my village I collect elixir from collectors and I have again full elixir storages. It's a vicious circle.

Farmers have the right to farm, and players like me have the right to use their resources.

The game must balance this.

-Limit the amount of walls you can upgrade with Elixir, 2 per day or something like that.

-Increase the the cost of upgrading walls with Elixir.

-Make players find more inactives.

-Bringing this feature back for uprading level 7 walls without level 6 walls.

No one is stopping you from farming. Apparently you've been farming a lot. Well done.

No one is stopping you from using your resources. You can build better armies to raid with. You can build expensive troops to donate. You can upgrade to th9 and have plenty of things to use your elixir on. When I was a th8 I had a lot of extra elixir as well. I made tons of dragons and donated them in and out of war. I still lost some elixir but that was the price I had to pay to start my upgrade with level 8 walls.

Supercell doesn't have to do anything for you, I or anyone else playing their free game. It is in their best interest to make sure the game is balanced for the entire CoC community - not just according to your wishes or mine.

One question. Why do you care if people steal lix if you have no use for it?
Just put it and all your collectors by the Town hall and donate it.


Also spend your lix on donations. Cook drags when you go off or something. Elixir is easy to burn

Train some heavy army, like 8 pekka, full dragon ecc.....
Or upgrade your town hall, I think is better to have lv 6 troops and th9 stuff.
You don't need 225 lv 8 walls

That will teach you not to keep a builder free for walls.

My full skulls were done waaaaaay before TH8 defenses, and that was with still gold :)
Man up and raid for those walls. They are a total breeze.

Not everyone will agree, but I think this one is actually a fairly good idea.

I am a TH10 with full DE storage and drillers i want SC to allow me to build walls with DE !

I love it. I got to farm my lvl 8s and now I can steal more E.

The problem wasnt between those who wanted to upgrade their walls and those that wanted to upgrade things with elixir.

The problem was that there wasn't enough resources to do a 'proper' raid - for farmers or trophy pushers or people who just want to have fun in the game.

Re inactives.... This is not a solution. Sure an inactive (or a run of them!) is nice but "raiding" inactives permanently isnt how the game is intended to be.

I can just see the description "come play our game and attack other people who arent playing anymore"

What about the years before this update in which people had excess elixir no matter their town hall? We all went through it. Now it's your turn!

I don't think it's fair that other people are awake raiding loot, building walls and increasing XP while I'm sleeping. I'm sorry that I have to sleep, but since others can do these things while I have to sleep, I should be compensated.

SC - please pay me free loot while I am forced to sleep. This will help balance out the game.

Walls are an optional way of Dumping Gold. If you are done with defense and troop Upgrades and your builders are idle, go to the next th. Especially at th9 the loot is much better than at th8, if you are raiding Storages.
The whole Problem of too much elixir at th8 only Comes from barching inactives and maxing walls. If you dont do that elixir will always be short at th8.
At th9 there is more elixir because you get more ressources per raid with the same troop costs if you attack th8 Storages. Just do skulls with Gold here and start the inner core legos with elixir.

BTW you have ressource buildings for that... may be the should only work when you are sleeping :)
