A new look at additional heroes - The Hero Bank

Hello everybody, I've been observing the forums for a while and only decided to make an account after this suggestion came to mind.

I've noticed that there is an ongoing battle between those who want additional heroes and those who do not. While I personally do not want additional heroes (I feel as if two are enough), I believe that this would be a logical compromise.

My proposal is the Hero Bank. With lack of a better comparison, I would relate this feature to the new village layout editor. This hero bank would allow additional heroes to exist in the game, but it would only allow two heroes to exist in a village at a time.

For example, say there was a hero for all 10 of the regular elixir troops in the game. Let's say I wanted to use my Goblin and Giant hero instead of the Barbarian King and Archer Queen. I would go to the hero bank, deselect the Barbarian King and Archer Queen, and select the Goblin and Giant heroes. In my village, the altars would change to accommodate these alternative heroes, and the Goblin and Giant heroes would be available to use for defense or battle.

However, simply creating a function like this would not be very balanced, therefore I also propose limitations on the hero bank's capabilities. Therefore, all recovery/upgrade times on current heroes would still have to be fulfilled before alternative heroes could be used/upgraded. For example, if I begin upgrading my Barbarian King to level 33 and then wish to bring out my level 3 Goblin hero, the Goblin hero would be displayed with it's altar, but the 7 days to upgrade the Barbarian King would have to pass before the Goblin hero could defend or be used to attack, even though the Goblin hero would only take 1 day to upgrade. The same goes for if I just used the Barbarian King in battle, and wish to use the Goblin hero in the next battle. If the recovery time of the Barbarian King had 40 minutes remaining, the Goblin hero would not be available for another 40 minutes.

This suggestion simply acts a compromise between the two types of people I've pointed out that exist on this forum. Let me know if anything wasn't clear. Thank you for reading.

I'm aware of this. I'm not sure if you missed the part where I said that I don't want any additional heroes. If you're wondering why I'm even suggesting this then, it is because I believe that, should Supercell ever be looking for a way to implement more heroes, this could be a logical solution. I'm not asking for new heroes here.

Nope they won't, everyone would just use a pekka hero and wizard hero and tear up everyones base

They're not and this also counts as an idea for new heros, sorry. I did not miss that part, however, what's ruled out is NEW heros.

You do understand that Supercell would never add a ridiculously imbalanced aspect to the game like that, right?

And to BlahBlah, I checked the ruled out post again and all it says is "Requests for every troop types to have a related hero." Yes, I've mentioned every troop type in my post, but that was simply for explanation purposes. A new hero wouldn't necessarily complement a troop type currently in the game, although it would break the pattern if it didn't. I'm not requesting anything here, I'm proposing a solution.

lol...but seriously then we would have to invent some sort of a hero trap to rebalance the OP heroes...

You do understand that your the one did said a hero bank with the ten regular troops to choose from, and the last time I check wizard and pekka are. That's exactly why they would not consider this idea

You guys need to learn how to comprehend what you read. It's true, I mentioned 10 heroes that were counterparts to the regular troops. I'm not denying that. However, I mentioned them simply for the sake of example.

I don't want a Goblin hero, I don't want a Giant hero, I don't want a Wizard hero - I don't want any of heroes that could be made to complement the current troops. I made this thread to address the possibility of an actual good hero suggestion (which yes, I have never seen) or if Supercell has a change of heart and wishes to add more heroes. Ruled out doesn't mean it will never happen, it just means that its unlikely and it isn't being worked on, and that they don't want to see suggestions for the same ruled out things.

Yeah this would be a little op and very laggy
