GoWiPe

I think gowipe is fine for th8.

As a TH8 no one has 3 gotten 3 stars from me with hogs but have done it with a GpWiPe. I have level 3 PEKKA and level 2 golem's and do 2 or 3 stars on well upgraded th8s using GoWiPe.

They are more fun than dragons.

Might just be personal preference, but gowipe is a fun reliable strategy to use against mid level th9 and max th8 at th8 with maxed troops. I can EASILY get 2 stars and on some occasions, I can get a 3 star. Just my 2 cents on this matter :)

I had a great time starting to practice GoWiPe as a TH8, granted I didn't really start practicing it until my Pekkas were level 2 already (they're level 3 now!). My Golems are still level 1 :(.

It's a fun composition! Very powerful. Good to know how to use, so I advise you start practicing it (if you want to).

Like others have mentioned, the trick is proper deployment of your golems, wizards and pekkas. There are some great youtube videos you may already be aware of that can show you the deployment sequence and give you pointers on how you should be executing your attack.

Although you may find some success with level 1 golems (as I did/do), they become far more effective as you upgrade them. My pekkas are level 3 now and are way better in my GoWiPe attacks. My wizards were level 5 almost right away so that's a no-brainer.

I wanted to start using this composition asap because although mass drags are still sometimes the way to go, that composition is pretty boring and played out to me... soooooo many people do it, yawwwwwwnnnnn.... I'm almost falling asleep just thinking about it. I'm all for being good at as many different compositions as possible, just to be well rounded and have more tools in my arsenal.
