You don't lose loot during war.
Storages are useful since their hp is so high. Try to position them is such a way that troops are being pounded on while trying to get through them.
Depending on what th level you are at (this advice is th7/8) you would want them fairly close to air defenses so dragons are getting hit while destroying storages.
He summed it up nicely. I would highly recommend you position them so they're attacked before any AD's if you're TH8 or lower.Quote:
