and rising.
But I wouldn't mind it but im not going to quit because of it
Who thinks in cumulative costs?
I mean, I'm working on Zap walls right now, and do I need to think in cumulative costs? Absolutely Not.
^ This.
25M is nothing and a drop in the bucket, think about how much Level 10s are > A whopping 150M = 6X the amount compared to Level 8s, and lets not get into Level 11s. The problem with the Elixir Walls for lower walls levels was the shortage of elixir for TH10players. It was absolutely brutal. Of course, people at low levels never saw how dire the shortage was simply because they don't see the penalties nor in the right leagues.
It's your fault for still having low level walls at TH10.
I think that lvl 9 and below should use only gold so..... That's my opinion.
You don't need to think in cumulative cost if your doing zaps. But if you had say level 5 walls and you want to know how much gold you would have to spend to get to level 8 walls (so you can upgrade with elixir) then the cumulative cost is much more relevant than just the cost of just level 8 walls.
Since he didnt' specify I went with worst case scenario (defenseless/wall less account that now wants walls) which still shows there is no excuse for not dumping elixir into walls as a th10 if you are overflowing or working on walls since with a relatively small amount of gold you can have much more elixir spending potential.
you did th 10 upgrade and now your complaining about elixir wall upgrade..
Don't be one of these so called cry babies...
Stop getting so butt hurt by people hiding behind usernames.
Just be honest. You still don't think in cumulative when you're thinking of short term goals. Yes, I think cumulatively as an endgame goal (I need 1billion in resources for Zap walls) since I'm sort of close(relatively), but that's simply a very high level and not realistic goal even for me on a day to day level. It's always incremental values that we still look at as the next step, as every player takes baby steps to improve their base.
TH10 doesn't have the luxury of spending elixir into walls unless you no longer need to one of the resources ie; de or gold after you max out. Then you "free" up a resource.
- Elixir is still the most used resource to farm; Troops and Spells cost elixir. As a TH10, the costs of army is tremendous to take out stronger bases like a Th9 or a weaker TH10. Even if you look at Barching, it still costs over 90K Elixir per raid which doesn't include the costs of Spells.
- TH10 upgrade costs for Lab and buildings (Barracks, Lab, Camps, Spell Factory) Elixir costs is staggering. So what I'm saying is that, for the bulk of most TH10s, they will be elixir poor for a long time. It's only as they close to max out their base it starts freeing up, but even still, the costs to raid is still a high number and elixir is something that needs to be kept in balance.
- Exclusive Elixir farming slows down most other farming, unless you're looking for inactive Bases or Fully loaded Storages, which means you're being pretty picky on the bases to hit. Which means NEXT-NEXT-NEXT = slower rate of farming.
Yes you did rush your base. Atleastthe walls, whic is the reason you are complaining. No, they shouldnmt. It's your fault you waited for TH10 to get them. Lvl 8 should be the dead minimum.
So you have rubbish walls and want to complain to SuperCell for not making it easier for you?
Too bad, elixir walls are reward for putting in the hard yards previously on walls - and help leave more elixir to be raided in the game.
