Wizards

Hey I was just wondering how I should use wizards, or if I should even bother. It is getting a little harder to get trophies and resources as I just reached Crystal Shield III.
My current troops:
Level 5: Archers, Giants and Barbs
Level 4: Wizards (5 on the way), Wall breakers, Goblins
Level 2: Dragons
Level 1: Healer, Balloons

-Don't have pekka yet.
-Just got th 8 a week or so ago.
-Clan: Raging Idiots

Nevertheless, You have to give solid meat shield to wizards, with the help of giant or pekka or golem. They are a must for ground cup hunting.

Provide entrance with wb, launch meat shields, followed by wizards. U may have to choose base you can 2 star, right entrance point and a rage spell in front of the troops (and not over them).

Follow up with support troops, heros and castle. 2 star of many bases is possible

trust me you dont need a pekka yet but heres a tip for troops if u tell me how much u house in camps ill tell u wat to use 12 giants 35 archers 5 wall breakers and 9 wizards not really wizards if u want u could but it depends on how much u can house so ya that will give u a good raid or u can substitute arches with goblins

I can hold 195 atm bro. 200 soon. That sounds pretty legit actually.

I got to 2300 using:

100 archers
16 giants
10 wb
And obviously CC reinforcements + Rage spells.

Using wizards IMO is a waste at that trophy level, they take far too long to cook & they are quite expensive.

Yeah true, they'll be 3.5k soon for one. The problem is, i have kind of been slack with spells haha. Don't have rage hahahahaha.

get rage spells and use a wave of barbarians first as a meat shield and maybe nine wizards it work because the wizards never get shot it is just the barbarians. i am at crystal #3 as well so it should work.

You won't be getting much further than 2000t if you're only using tier 1 troops & without spells tbh.
Get rage if you want to carry on raising trophys. I hit 2075 without spells, any further would be pretty difficult & very, very time consuming.

First decide on what exactly do you want : You want resources to upgrade all ur defenses and troops OR Just needs them trophies

mostly from the look of things you are possibly going towards a hybrid sort of gameplay which would not be good the higher you go.

I would suggest that you forget trophies for a bit, drop down to an optimal trophy range for th8 farming : get ur defenses up, level up all ur troops and spells and then when u are ready push for trophies.

I am trophy hunting. I need to get resources to support a successful campaign of raids. I could just go purely for trophies, but i have to make back at least what i spend.

to destroy a wizard tower: send 2 giants, then 20 archers
the giants will absorb the fire while the archers will shoot the tower without being damaged
