I consider myself a Mid level TH9 and I'm only half way at best done with my skulls. It takes a while and I've only been half seriously working on them for about 3-4 months now.Quote:

Lol just calculate how much gold do you farm a day.
If you farm 2 mill(not including nexting cost) a day it will take around 56 days...
EDIT: When the elixir for walls was on it took me a lot less than a month
It took me about 15 months to finish skulls.
I did a lot of other stuff in that time though (and had some time off).
Dang that's a long time. I've got a few more lab upgrades before I want to go to TH 9 though, so I guess I'll just see where I am then. Getting skulls is more of an OCD thing for me than a logical choice.
IMO after last pricing change in walls, perfect time to move to TH9 is when you have all your defenses maxed and no (pink) elixir upgrades left. No point to stay for walls, dark troops or king higher than lvl5.
While TH upgrades, I would recommend to fill all the storages so that you could get your AQ, new Lab and X-Bows immediately.
I don't play much, 1-2 hrs a day maybe, so it took me 3-4 months. I did discover once you get all to skulls or higher, you get more air dominate raids! Who knew! Hahaha
one month with an average of 4 mil a day (done at TH8)
I'll get all my new TH walls to dark purple then I'll do as many skulls as I can before I am done DE upgrades.
Did mine as a TH9 during the last Christmas boost (2013), yes I know I should have done them at TH8. Took 10 days playing 3 hours a night. At TH8 you should be able to do them much quicker than that.
