The problem with the Spell Factory and boosts...
Some players here may have experienced this issue with this recent one gem boost event. When you boost spells and have a full rack you can go searching for loot or for cups for long periods of time and have to come back to an empty Spell Factory. We have barracks where you can load up troops to build while you go searching for a base to attack. If you spend 30 mins looking you come back to 30 minutes of troops. Same with Heroes. If you go searching 30 minutes you come back to Heroes with 30 minutes shaved from their regen time. Why doesn't the Spell Factory work like everything else in the game?
There's other issues like with this recent one gem boost on heroes, barracks and spells there's no point in boosting barracks because I never have enough spells with the time it takes to make them anyway. You never have enough spells to keep up with the production of troops. With a boosted Spell Factory it takes me approximately 45 minutes to make a full rack of spells. I can live with that, my troops take around the same time if I stack them up in the barracks while searching for bases to attack. But coming back from the clouds searching for bases to attack at 4k cups can easily take over an hour to find a base to attack. I come back with full everything except spells so I have to wait another 45 minutes from when I come back to my base. It's not like I can pause the boost on the spell factory either before hitting attack so that's a total waste of boost time also. It's become a bit of a joke with all high trophy players i've spoken to that this is where SC make most of their money from players having to gem the stupid spells to play the game. It's just ridiculous though and really destroys the flow of the game. It's painful enough as it is with clouds and everything else up here. But the spells not stacking affects everyone in the game with a boosted spell factory.
My solution is to make a slot system or a system similar to the way the barracks works. You have 5 spells so 5 extra slots. You could have a Rage in slot 1 for example and if you go to attack it starts cooking in the background and if you use a Rage it replaces itself. So simple. Just an extra 5 slots for spells to cook in the background so we can come back to our base with Spells ready. I've made numerous topics on the Spell Factory and nothing is ever done about it. I'm pleading with you SC to have a look at what I am suggesting, it would benefit the game immensely...
