The dark hidden Tesla would poison troops and take 5 health off every 2 seconds. Its favorite target would be dark troops and it would poison them double the amount of regular troops.

Back to the original idea, there are a few key missing details. How long does the poison last? How many are available? How much space does it take up? How much time does it take to upgrade? How much range does it have? Is the poison damage separate to the DPS that you have stated?
From what I can see, it is ridiculously weak. It has next to no health, and its DPS is nothing impressive either. Part of the problem is that there aren't many details, so it is difficult to determine how strong/weak it is.
