I think it would be nice to have the ability to choose what resource you want to collect in your CC after war. Sometimes I might only want the dark elixir but I have to collect everything when I click collect. If you have the ability to choose, it will help keep those other resources you don't need right away a little more safe.

I have 600 k elixir sitting in my clan castle, when I collected everything else, you know why that didn't collect? BECAUSE THERE IS NO ROOM! If you are collecting and you have a storage full that resource when you collect, it will fill that strange to the top and the rest will stay in you clan castle :) Hope this helps
