i am beginning to hate the routine of update then change attack setup

does it bother you that its beginning to feel like a cookie cutter setups is the only way to win after each update?


what happen to diversity? to creativeness,, ?


the gowipe is the current setup most done,,that one and loomings..

to me every troop combination should be able to achieve at least 1 star if done correctly,,, how ever that is not the case.

Because it takes less effort to copy a successful attack than to create your own.You see this in every game whether it be army builds (real time strategy games like starcraft or command and conquer), loadouts (call of duty, battlefield 4), character builds (mmorpgs).

Better to use a dependable common strategy than risk a new strategy you could fail with

I can make a good base on my own, come up with decent defense coverage and trap placement and funneling but I can't make a great base, lots of non-obvious considerations that I just don't know well enough. It is better to take a base that has these issues worked out even though it is well known than to use my own more mediocrity design that may be more surprising to my opponent but overall less effective.

I prefer the 17 healers, 1 barbarian strategy.

Most my raids are done with a mix of most elix troops (excluding time consuming pekks and drags, and mine clearing healers). In war the troops vary, but are usually dark troop heavy and again use a smorgasbord of hogs, witches, minions, golems and even the occasional hound. While I get that many high level raiders are using variants of a one size fits all, nearly all troops (excluding healers after th8) find a purpose in some setup.

You are correct. A healer wall breaker combo cant get 1 star on a maxed base :D
What other troop combination will not get 1 star?

There are some troop combination that work on almost every base like gowipe and then there are some troop combination that only work on some specific bases like hogs or lavaloonion.
