how to place my level 7 air defences

I saw a issue where my air defense's was actually cause problems with each other due to targeting issues

I have a close diamond pattern setup with my 4 x level 7 air defence

I was attacked in a war with loons and mins,, the closest air defense looked like it was stopping ( not firing )

but on closer observing,,, I think the issue was one of the other air defenses was destroying the target the first one was aiming at and the first one had to "search for a new target " which made it look like it was not firing.

I am not sure how to maximize the defense of the grouping yet not allow the 4 air defenses to interfere with their attacks,

( god I hope I explained that well enough )

so my question to you all,,, the radius of the circle they defend,,, should I over lap? have them spread out so they just barly over lap? or should I just move them far enough apart that the circles are not crossing each other?

Don't quote me but that sounds like a bug, never heard of it though.

to me it would make sense that both air defenses would fire at the target even at the same time,,, but I swear they were not ,,

would love some input ,,,,


any suggestions would be helpful

amazing I see ♥♥♥♥ loads of threads where people complain about loot,,,, and in those threads are a ton of people insulting or complaining about the complainers,,

yet here is a thread with a good question,,, about a real issue,,, and not one statement,,, so typical

It's probably a re-targetting issue where another defence takes out an attacking troop before the other one can get it's shot out - I don't want to spam this thread with my videos but you can see that in my most recent with the cc Wizard.

From your post it sounds like you really do understand how to position them i'd say leave it as it is and if it happens regularly maybe post a vid on here and we can take a look.

I'm sure the forum would be happy to look at your base though if you would like to post a pic.

Have always kept mine were each is covered by at least one other one, seems to work well. Only time I ever get more than one star put on me is from lavaloonion. Just my opinion however

ty for your input ,,, yes I do understand how to layout my base d's... but I was trying to get opinions on how to maximize the air d's without them interfering with each other....the diamond shape has its benefits' but it has inherent problems
