Higher Attackers Not really fair

Happens all the time. I'm th5 and because of my trophy level I'm always getting beat up by th7. I earned my trophies the hard way. No th sniping here at all, but once I got here....WHAM! Now I am looting off of th6s because I can't find any th5s to beat up. Makes me a better attacker for sure.

i do also get attacked by 8,9 and 10 th. They get very little loot. I don't worry about a shield since I often break it to go looting myself in order to keep my builders busy. Yes it's silly that these guys are such weenies they need to beat up little guys, but that's the way of it. When I was level 3 there were all kinds of high level guys down in my non league. Trophy droppers. They can't beat up guys at their own level so they drop down to beat up littler guys. It's ok, won't be long before you can beat up bigger and bigger guys. Then they will need to hide down lower from you.

Yea its how it is.... I loot off of rushed th 9's to max th7 even th6 have decent loot if their pumps are lv 10 and filled. (I know right scum of clash lol) But I get my fair share of th 9 and 10 wrecking my base so its not like the players that raid and hassle you are not getting their fair share of it too. Higher bases will always pick on weaker bases that have a lot of loot. Now one way to lessen it is to put your th outside don't put traps by it you want them to get it. So your wasting loot if you put big bombs by your th that cost 25k to rearm. Another way is to go down to a trophy count that has more of your th. And don't hold on to loot spend it as fast as you can or farmers will have your base to add to their hit list.

This is just how the game works if you don't think every other player has suffered through this your wrong. Lol:D

Nonsense. TH7 and TH6 with maxed collectors that can't spend 30 seconds emptying them are giving their loot away to ALL players. A TH4 can pick more loot out of them than a TH10 can. If collectors are left full and unprotected a sprinkling of archers is a legit tactic for ANY level player no matter how big or small. This is not even close to the same as steamrolling weaker players.

there is a thread going on in bugs and problems about mismatch trophy opponents. if thats what u r refereing. otherwise drop trophies (myself at crystal 2 and after winter update constantly seeing gold 2 in searches)

Its just part of the game. I am a high Master class and the other day I got steamrolled by some Champion class guy that had pushed down to steal some easy lunch money. we gotta live with these things.

Always need to keep in mind what the point of this game is . . . to take what other people have. If you could stop people from taking your stuff . . . everybody could stop you too. CoC rewards offense, not defense. SC could change it but the rebalancing of the entire game structure could be very tricky. You upgrade your defenses and redesign your base to mitigate those losses but the game depends on people taking from each other. That's the point.

What people need to understand is that when your base is wrecked, partly, or as a whole, it is a minor setback; effectively a slap on the wrist. Many aspects of this game have what would logically be tragic losses, be meer annoyances.

1. When your base is destroyed, it pops back up like a recently flattened cartoon character right before your eyes when you log on. There is no cost to rebuild, and there is no penalty for destroyed buildings, besides loot loss.
2. Your lost loot it is not even a quarter of what you had was taken. It is at most 20%, or has a max limit on because of storages, and that percentage gradually goes down to 10% at Town Hall 10. If it were real life, would be near 100% loss. Game over, you're dead (or captured).

The psychological impact of losing, plus with the visual of seeing such loss, is very strong. It is easy to overlook what your true losses were, which is a fraction of your loot, and pride as a base designer. When I get attacked and looted (win or defeat varies for me), that cancels out one to three of my raids. That is one to three, out of more than half a dozen to a dozen I make daily or semi-daily.

To be honest, I want to be attacked! I want to see people try, and fail, at getting loot, or just fail to get 50% damage. I want those defense wins, because there is an achievement based on it, and a hard one at that! I want to see if I out wit my attackers, and most times I have! I have fended off those level 8 Town Hall people and thier cheap raiding armys with varying degrees of success shortly becoming a Town Hall level 7, and now I'm on the last legs to upgrade to be a Town Hall level 8 myself! My base isn't unbeatable, I have had TH7's easily beat it when they happen to have the right troops and know how to use it, but that's not common. I have been beaten by higher level people, either with good army builds, or just brute force and ignorance, but I pulled together something that has allowed me to beat them back some of the time, or most of the time, for the first time since I started, and personally, I think that is awesome!

Clam your victories where you can, because in this game, you can and will lose at times, and lose often.
