Banned from Clash... by association?

I see your point guys.

But why would you want to give co-leader to someone you don't know that well? - It was introduced as a way to primarily give leaders the option of recognising their very best people, and trusting them to essentially deputise for them.

Surely Elder would be enough for people wanting "a title"?

I've been playing for a little while, led a few clans and i would never ever ever give someone a promotion because they ask for it - i'd doubt their motives to be in the clan.

If you are unable to identify the author of this offensive description, then I ask that you revoke your ban on all of the players in my clan, so that we as a clan may asertain what the offense was and how to rectify it going forward to make sure it doesn't happen again.


As for improving your apparatus for dealing with such offenses I suggest starting first with a warning and locking the description to a default message for a period of time, and in the future find a way to keep track of who authors a description the same way people author clan mail. If you keep it the way it is, you are inviting less savory players to exploit your policy to sabotage other clans. Much like when players when joining a clan, ask for leader, boot the whole clan, raise the trophy minimum, and leave.

I agree and I like how you added suggestions to it.
Hopefully sending this gets them to consider adding some of the suggestions.

Having only 1 co-leader at this time and someone I know personally at that I am glad that I have no experience in this area. Not sure what the fascination with having so many is in the first place, just doesn't seem practical. I do think for those that do have multiple co-leaders it would be a good addition to at least have some sort of warning system in place that alerts the leader if changes are made to description or qualifications. I can say at times I've gone weeks without looking at my clan description.....I can't possibly be the only one.

Especially for people who haven't been around before co-leader, many players probably don't see it as something reserved for the very best. Most clans have over 5 (sometimes +10) co-leaders so even if it was intended to be for the very best, that's not how the general player views it.

Overall, people might not be too upset with the damage a rogue co-leader can do because people can be reinvited. They'd never expect a rogue co-leader could get them banned though

I do agree with you 100% on this.

But lets say, friends get in a fight.

Friend who's co gets mad and is not thinking rationally, and he knows other friend is a co.
And friends tend to know when others go to sleep as you interact that much.
Friend waits until other friends usual sleeping time and changes description to something inappropriate and leaves.
All others get banned. Friend off scot free. No one was on to change description. (Assuming this is a clan with same time zones).
As for clans with diffrent timezones, I earned co (doesn't matter how at the moment.) I'm in a diffrent time zone then the rest of the clan.
I notice description change, I will change it back.
But lets say I'm a jerk for a second. I wait the time period to earn co, earn it rightfully, don't ask and change description knowing no one else will be on for hours. Leave the clan, they get banned. (This is hythopotical) As I know very rarely will anyone be on at the same time if ever as me.

Some people have that kind of patience especially when they know they can get away with it.

You can't be online 24/7, and you don't know anyone on this game in real life is a possibility.

It is like asking that from a co.

Don't give anyone co that asks soon as they join, yes. That is a bad idea.

I do agree with that.And don't give people you don't know well promotions (I assume you mean clash world not real life.)

This just reaffirmes my position on keeping clan closed during war as well as the "war chat" suggestion. Nothing like 10 year olds having a battle of wits to brighten your day-lol

Just stay clan less and dont spend any gems.
Best way to threaten sc is to stop buying stuff.
Otherwise its clear who decides stuff and has the upper hand. (SC with Tos that you agreed to)

For my part I never asked for co-leader. Nothing wrong with titles, hierarchy, chain of command and so forth, and the fact of the matter is holding a higher station has a few perks. but (respectfully) I find it foolish to expect people to not be stupid. Yes I'm bringing the dreaded "S" word back to this thread. Things can and will go wrong in any given clan at some point. Some will be too trusting, some too hot-headed. others just plain stupid.

All I am saying is that a company that has made a game so good that so many of us have literally spent years of our lives playing it, should be able to anticipate these kind of issues and find a better way to deal with them. If not now than in the future before it becomes a more serious problem.

anyway that's just my opinion -which i would normally keep to myself instead of whining about it here' but since I am currently banned, it seems i had nothing better to do.
