Bonus Stars For Clan Wars
I've been in quite a few wars and have noticed that it has gotten a little bland. It's more about individual attacking than as a clan as a whole. So, I propose we implement 3 new stars: "Clan Stars" that depend on the clan's performance as a whole in the war. These stars are worth the same as any other star and are awarded at the end of the war. In the result of a tie, neither clan will get the star (obviously). So strap in and tell me what you think!
The 'Total Destruction' Star
Under the War Stats when you click the blue star, there is the "Average Destruction" stat. However, this is based on attacks already done so 1/90 attacks that is a 3* is 100% and wouldn't make sense to base the bonus star on this. Rather, the clan that is awarded this star is the one that has a higher percentage of destruction done to the enemy clan based on the best attack. For example, in a 25v25 war, each base is worth 4% of the total destruction so 50% on a base is 2% total destruction, 75% is 3% etc. Total destruction will be displayed under the average destruction stat in war stats. This star encourages players to go all out on raids, and not end battles early
The 'Raw Power' Star
Let's face it, spells are incredibly helpful in a war and can change the tides of battle. BUT IF YOU'RE A REAL BARBARIAN YOU DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' WIZARDS' SPELLS! This star is awarded to the clan that uses the least total number of spells in their best attack. I suspect this star will be ignored a lot by top players because spells are almost required to do well on raids anyways. This star sort of balances with the total destruction star because you are conflicted with using the spells to get as high a percentage as possible, or saving them to contribute to this star. This star shows that you are one with the barbarian and know how to raid even when challenged to use little to no spells.
[Edit]: The star is based on the average percentage of spells used in the best attacks. So, if a th 10 has the best attack and used 4 spells it would be 80% whereas if a th9 had the best attack and used 4 spells it would be 100%. The percentages are then averaged out with every best attack and the clan with the lowest percentage is awarded the star.
The 'Total Stars' Star
Under the My Clan and Enemy Clan tab when you click the blue star, it shows the total number of NEW STARS you won for your clan. So if you got three stars on both of your attacks but each one had already need 1 starred, then it only shows 4 stars. This star is awarded to the clan that wins the highest number of total stars. So, in a 10v10 war 30 stars can be won but 60 total stars can be won (if every single member got three stars on both of their raids). Next to new stars won would be total stars won under the My Clan and Enemy Clan tabs and Total Stars Won would be under the War Stats. This star is much like the Total Destruction star except with stars rather than percentage.
Rewards for The Stars (optional)
In addition to the extra stars being won that contribute to the winner of the war, the stars each clan wins will have a special reward that comes with winning them despite if they win the war or not.
Total Destruction Star Reward
10% extra war loot to gold, elixir, and dark elixir.
Raw Power Star Award
Your normal barracks are automatically boosted for 2 hours starting when the war ends. Can not choose when they are boosted. If this is not possible, then 5% extra war loot to gold and elixir.
Total Star Award
You get a percentage of your war loot in a resource of your choosing. The percentage you receive is equal to the total stars you won.
