Week shield disappeared when attacking goblin village..? Why

Hello, my name is Mike.

During the break, I farmed very hard getting my walls to level 9. In doing so, I got tired of raiding and decided to buy a week shield to relax and not worry about raiding. Upon returning home from work, (9 hours after buying the shield) I attacked a GOBLIN VILLAGE to get rid of my archers since i did not need them and it is quicker than going through the camps to delete them. When I came back from trashing the archers, I lost my 7 day shield. I thought, no, I know you do not lose a shield when attacking a goblin village. I would like a reasonable explanation towards why and how this could have happened. I would like, if possible, my week shield back, and the 250 gems I spent when buying the shield. You don't lose your shield when attacking the goblins. It was something else.

I clicked attack on the goblin village.
got rid of archers.
came back with no shield.
Tell me how that is possible?
What else could it be?

That should not have happened, post about it in the bugs section of this forum.

I have NO "third party apps" no software, nothing. Only the app. I need a reason not from any players, like a developer.

Well when you get the developers to respond to a post you make on the forums be sure to let me know. I have some things id like to discuss with them... ♥♥♥♥♥
