Should I Gem?

Just curious what you guys think.


When I bought my macbook air 2 years ago I got $100 for the itunes store. Before that (when I had no use for one) I was given a $15 itunes store card.

I have spend $5 on gems twice, once to get my 3rd builder, and once during the AIDS event because I have barely ever used the money on my account. The only other money I've spent is on one song for .99 when I was intoxicated and impatient.

I have $102.43 on my account just sitting there. I have no use for it. I buy no paid apps and am almost tempted to pay $3 for Ad free trivia crack, because.

That said, should I gem? I listen to very little music and usually do on youtube and I stream any shows I want on netflix.

I'm a mid/early TH8 with level 5 king.

Part of me wants to gem just because but part of me feels it will take away the experience of the game.

If I were to gem what should I do it on and should I wait till TH9/10 to use them? I would get my 5th builder asap and then I don't know what.


Please give me suggestions. If there are other apps you think I should buy please recommend, I will not spend money on paid games but only freemium games.

If you don't have 5th builder buy it... Other than that if you play 2+ hours a day then I would buy gems to boost and gem some miscellaneous. I've spent money on the game and don't regret it. I just like you never use my itunes money on anything else so why not buy some gems.

I would wait till th 10 when resources get harder to get and you need a lot more. Imo it's easy enough at th8 to get resources without gemming.

This really is the best value for money - you don't sound like someone who has the burning need to spend the $$$ - so this will give you the most enjoyment really.

You could of course use it for cup pushes as and when if that's your thing.

If its really sitting there doing nothing, then hold off a while if you want. TH9 and 10 much more comfortable with boosts.

The choice is all yours bud, but boosting is indeed by far the best value. If you want fast progress at some point, then barrack boost loot grind is the way forward.
If you just want extra fun, spells and heroes for smashing places up.

Use it for builders or for the upgrade time of AQ.
