I i zap too and I'm a strong th9, no shame in it its part of the game. If you don't like getting hit zap others to make the de back. It's a good strategy and there's a reason people do it, it works
Try moving up in trophies. I typically hangout between Crystal 2 and masters 3 and it is extremely rare that I get zapped. (Less so as I get closer to masters 3)
