TH8 War Base Design

Hi guys.

I've seen some similar bases, but I've not come across one identical to mine. I seem to have a good defence against MassDrag attacks, or I've only been attacked by people that cannot attack with dragons — so far I've not had anyone 3 star me with dragons.

However, I am a little weak on ground attacks from TH9s which I get often in wars as I'm quite high up on my clan. I wondered if I could have some critique on my base and suggestions for ground attacks. I know my walls are weak, and I'm working on these now. I'll be farming over the next couple of weeks to get al level 8 walls, but in terms of defensive buildings, are there any suggestions?

Thats really good! Can't think of any improvements really just possibly focus on upgrading all your walls for a bit.

Get those walls up and that base could be hard to beat! Good job 9/10

Cool thanks guys. I guess with the stronger walls this'll make it harder for the ground troops to break through. Dragons seem to struggle with this. I was MassDrag attacked 3 times in the last war any they only took 1 star from me. Seems to be very hard for dragons to beat this base, but ground troops can at least 2 star me.

I'll work on the walls, but it's such a pain...

Your base has a very lurable cc, which is a very big flaw for th8s

You might try looking at a funneling guide. It could really improve your ground defense.

You're always going to get wiped by th9 troops; just keep upgrading to prevent this from happening;)

Yeah the lureable CC isn't great but the real draw back is lack of DGBs

Interesting style though I've seen this (or close to it) with th9 and 10 but never 8

Yeah I know — I've tried so many variations of bases, but without exposing my TH I couldn't figure out a way without having gaps in my walls or less than three walls to my TH, which is what the aim was with this — to always have three walls to get to my TH.

I looked at these, and have also tried it but it's always too obvious — people just send a couple of barbs down them to set the traps and then they've penetrated the outer layer. I've not had much success with them when I've tried.
