Add a Cool-Down period after joining a clan of 1-6 hours before requesting troops.

One of the most frustrating aspects of running a clan is when people join and immediately send a troop request only to leave the clan the moment they receive troops. This equates to stealing troops from generous clanmates. My request is to add a cool down period when people join a clan of 1-6 hours across the board for new members of a clan. OR give the leaders and co-leaders of each clan to set their own clans cool down period manually from zero to whatever they want; an hour, a day, a week, whatever.
I believe this would prevent the trolling and leaching of troops from clanmates that creates so much bitterness and cynicism. I hope this request gets to somebody that can do something about it because this could alleviate a lot of frustration from a lot of people! Thanks in advance.

1-6 hours thats an awfully big window. I'd say 15-30 minutes would be more than fine.

I think SC should do nothing with this and each clan should decide for themselves how they want to handle it. There are clans that want to base it only on what the other gives first and nothing to do with time. There are donate and leave clans that this would totally mess up. And there are clans that just don't care and would just consider any SC imposed restrictions as a hassle. There are guys that jump between feeder clans to get troops for war that this would mess up.

I would instead ask why cant a clan leader tell a person they can't get troops for a few hours if that's what they want? Or 15 minutes, or donate first, or whatever. Why can't the clan handle it themselves to 'just say no' if they feel that way?

A toggle on and off button would be nice in the clan settings.

I want to ask one thing though. If you don't want to donate to new members for first "some" hours, then why not just set it as rule? Maybe in description?

Those who want to donate. Can donate. You get experience from it and achievement.

You don't like donating at first few hours? Then don't donate. The whole donations is in each persons control already. No one is forcing you to donate.

Why should you as leader set a condition that would make someone unable to donate even if they want to?

I'm sitting on almost full elixir storage. I keep donating wiz or drags or pekka whatever I can use to donate and keep elixir low from getting a target to th9. So I would love to donate to any request and having a rule blocking me makes no sense.

You don't like to donate to new guy, then just don't.

I'm not locked into a time period. I just would like to give the clan leader control over this in some way. I am looking for loyal teammates, so we don't need people showing up and requesting just to leave. Its a pain in the butt to have to go look at each persons profile to decide if they are worthy of my donation or not. By automating it at the leader level you can prevent much trolling by giving control with a toggle to turn this Cool-Down feature for troop requests a toggle and a time period drop down window. Set it and forget it to eliminate 80 or 90% of Troop trolling. Problem solved!

If I could set a one hour blockage on requests for new members I stop a huge problem of ten people a day joining my clan just to steal and leave. We are an active clan and if I had to go into each users profile to check up on them every time they sent a request it wastes a huge amount of time. I'm not saying it is for everyone, but giving control of this to the clan leader is the best option. If that's not how your clan rolls, then don't use it. But it would save me and others I'm sure, a great deal of hassle!

No, its not that I'm against it. I'm trying to understand the problem.

You have invite system I guess seeing at your wordings. I'm not sure what level of th you guys recruit

I have never ever come across this problem of people requesting and joining and troop req and leave. So not sure how vast this problem is.

Because, you get a troop request pop in chat. You get to see the request and the person's name. Anyone can tell them in 2 seconds that they only get troops after so and so hours of their joining in your clan.

They even get to decide if they want to donate or not. Why donate at all to new member if you are so bothered about them stealing? Just wait it out. Tell members in clan mail to never donate to new members until certain period? Maybe a day? I don't know..

You even get to see "new" tag on them on clan list. Its hard to miss who is new unless you switch members on a daily basis which is really bad for clan itself for stability.

Why does a leader has to enforce a "must" rule on all members when any member themselves can choose to donate or not to?
