So last year me and a friend were making up ideas to make the game better and I remembered one that I thought was cool. The idea was adding 2 new resources that could upgrade a troops attack and the other the troops defence. It would kind of be like the laboratory but you could make your troops superior in attacking or defending. This would not work for troops like dragon golem pekka etc. Only the troops that aren't very overpowered like barbs and archers etc.

I believe this is a nice idea however it is in some way related to enhancing troops with armour (not really but its the same concept) and I believe that is ruled out. Thank You.
Why try and make the game so complicated?
there is a certain limit to complicated-ness and clash has the perfect balance of it.
adding this would ruin the balance imo:)
I believe that Gold, Elixir and DE is enough. And once you are having TH8, you will have plenty of elixir required for troop upgrades.
