At what level are minions worth it for farming as a TH9?

I've been TH9 for a month now and just finished upgrading most of my core farming troops (lvl6 archer, lvl6 giant intended for base penetration to farm DE). I was wondering at what level are minions worth using to farm as a TH9 raiding other TH9's and TH8's. I rushed so at the moment they are level 1, only my normal farming troops are maxed, at what level should I start using minions to farm? I'm guessing lvl3 minions?

I would say level 3 or 4 Minions are where they start to be useful, level 5+ Minions are pretty sweet though.

level 3 or 4 is perfect, good power and not very costly

Minions to farm?:(...no sir, farming is mostly about obtaining and saving resources, no need for minions. That said, I found minions helpful at lvl4+.

I don't have problems farming DE, all my defenses are super low level but my army camps and DE drills are all maxed (lvl6 drills). Minions are really cheap to train and I'm already leveling heroes non stop (often both at same time). The reason I want to use minions is to make use of the dark barracks and fill my 220 army camp space faster (6 barracks>4 barracks). Basically I want to be able to raid more often, also makes the game more enjoyable since you don't have to wait as long.

Get. Them to 5. They are awesome. As a minion user I must warn you, send out testers for air bombs. Don't get caught up in battle, release them and have them all die to one bomb.

I use lv5. I really saw an improvement around lv4. I'd say get them to 4 before you can rely on them

Yes, I plan to max everything from defenses to troops and get max TH12. JK. I know that minions are great for farming and that lvl5 are better than lvl4 or lvl3, my question is AT WHAT LEVEL ARE THEY WORTH USING TO FARM TH8's AND TH9's. In other words, below that said level, it's better not to use minions because they are weaker than other farming troops (lvl6 archers, barbs, giants if we account for the housing space obviously). Your kidding right? I never farm without them; even when farming dark elixir.

I felt at lv 3 they really started to come good, and obviously better there after.

Lv 6 Minion was my first troop upgrade at TH10.
