"Save for later" button in multiplayer

this idea just came to my hade and i thought of posting it.
i suggest adding a button in multiplayer to save a target to attack it later, and it expires after two hours for exemple.
why is this usefull?
you can save time... While your troops are being trained you can go search for a good target, and when you find one you can save it for later to attack when your troops are ready.
I hope that the idea is clear

Edit: in order to prevent people from making troops after saving a target the game can prevent them to use any trained troops after saving that target
for exemple: 100 archer are being trained, i go search for a good target i find one, i save it than i go back to my village and launch a dragon train and additional 50 archer. When they are ready i go to attack him but i find that my dragon is grayed (can't use it) and i can only use 100 archer

That would be nice but it would take the aspect of surprise and quick thinking out of the game. It would be too op.
Example: If you see a base with upgrading air defense and a lot of loot- You would simply go back to your base and compose an air army for the base.

I don't like it if you are searching for a raid, then you should have all of your troops trained and be ready to raid them.

I doubt they would implement this but it would be great when you see someone you want to attack and forgot spells and go save them, get the spells then attack. But the major problem would be if you saw someone, saved them and get to plan and strategize for an unlimited time then attack. One major part of attacking is planning the 30 second time period but unlimited time could give unwanted advantages.

This is a slight twist to the 'ability to call your target' ideas that have been suggested so many times. You are saying that it expires after a couple hours which strikes me as a good one. So someone can call a target on prep day then the rest of the clan is not sure what's up until he arrives late in the war to finally do it. (or doesn't which they do have to worry about too) So 2 hours means you set your sights on a target, make your army and do it, or lose your call.

I personally don't think any in game 'call your target' feature is needed, I think a clan should be able to handle this themselves and the ones that can't have issues. But it was included on the list of features SC was going to work on (they put out several months ago). They have been doing items from this list with each update ever since. So it might happen. If it does I think your suggestion should be a good way to have it work.

Finding a player to raid in multi-player is basically a lottery. SO it would take that element of surprise out of the game and would be abused by smart and quick thinkers eg. If the base has weak AD's you can just make and air comp. and dismantle them like someone said above.

There can be a restriction, for exemple:
After saving a target you can't add troops or spells, all you can do is waiting for the troops (that you selected before searching) to finish training

You can save time with this feature.
you open the game, train raiding troops and instead of waiting for them to be ready you can use that time to look for a good target.

like i said after you save the target, it will expire in a very limited time, and you can't scout his village.
also you can't change your troops composition.

I'm not saying this idea is 'bad' per say but it would be unfair to the person defending and would make saving loot a bit harder since people see you have loot and then go and get an army that would wipe out your loot. Although putting a timer on it would be a good idea, I doubt Supercell will put it in the game though. Just my thoughts....:cool:

This is honestly THE WORST idea I have ever heard.
Make your armies ahead of time, and use gems if you have to.

No. A big part of this game is preparing the army before hand. This forces the player to compromise between fast building and slow building troops. Your idea short circuits this giving an enormous offensive advantage.

It's not unlimited time, the target will expire after 2 hrs

Spot on. People might have a barch info army that won't get to the loot then save the base and cook drags or something and take it out.
