Heroes during UG: Varying Solutions for War
Idea 1: Statue of War
A statue that is purchasable and houses the spirit of either the Barbarian King/Archer Queen and allows them to be used during attacks in war (but not for defense of normal base or normal raids) when their normal altar is upgrading.
It would cost a predetermined amount of gems, and would act as a "functional" statue of sorts, and people who purchase it while having max heroes can just use it as a decoration.
Idea 2: Showing Devotion with Tributes
Those villages willing to show their devotion to the BK/AQ with a tribute of dark elixir (and/or gold and elixir) will find them useful in their time of war.
This could be done through the normal altar, while its upgrading. This would act as a sort of "boost" that lasts for the duration of the current war period (if paid during prep day, lasts until end of war day) and the BK and AQ would only be available for War, and not normal raids.
Variant Combination: A purchasable statue that would contain the ability to pay tribute (pretty much just a combination of the two above ideas).
Background and Why I think it should be added:
Heroes have been requested to be used during UG multiple times, and the reason I was more or less making this post was because I thought these ideas fit into the way SC might choose to resolve the issue. I don't know if other people have requested similar features, as I thought this was a unique solution.
War was designed to be a way to show your best attack strategies versus someone else's best defense strategies. Normal troops don't share both their "Research" and "Creation" with the same building. Thus while researching a troop, you aren't forced out of not using it. There is also a solution with barracks because their are multiple barracks to produce troops, so that even if one is upgrading, if overall the buildings are staggered people will always have access to their max troop. There is no solution for the BK/AQ which was fine before CW was introduced, since it would not deter from the ability to try to trophy push with 1 star victories or farming, although it may slightly hinder both. But not having access to heroes during war is completely against the core function of war, since when fighting against max level bases (and even normal bases), access to heroes can be the difference in winning or losing battles, which doesn't only have an affect on you, it has an affect on your clans ability to win.
Note: The first idea actually lead to my second idea, and while I think the second one is a better option for clash as a whole, I wouldn't be opposed to either. The reason being that many cultures would appease gods with offerings (although in some of these it is sacrifices that are made instead of other material goods) in order to gain their favor when they seemed abandoned, which can be related to the the BK or AQ being "asleep" and the villagers giving them resources to have them fight against enemies.
