Every single player in my defense log is either online, or has a shield. But the people who are "online" have collectors, mines, and drills that have a LOT of loot in them, which means they haven't played in a long time. So I'm guessing that there is either a problem with my defense log, or there are dozens of people who use robots to keep tapping their screen to keep themselves online. Does anyone else have this problem?!
Nope. Probably boosted collectors left over night, best way to tell inactives are loaded weapons, obstacles, builders, and tombstones.Quote:

I have the same problem as the OP. Given up trying to revenge attack. I think there must be a problem as well. Never see TH destroyed on the bases that I want to revenge but they always have a shield. Third party software??? Other games that I play are riddled with them. Guess COC is not immune either.
Same issue here, I have 3 players on my Def log that are online 24/7 I check every chance I get If im on my phone or tablet. Ive given up. Same thing too with the collectors. I might join his clan to see whats up bc something isn't right

I have a hard time finding anybody on my revenge list that's available as well. It's all active shields or online. I was clicking them all today since I had a big army made. One time a low level guy with no loot was available, but obviously that's not worth it. Besides, I think he just sniped me.
It's not ♥♥♥♥♥ing with the shields, snipers constantly hide bases from us all. Each sniper can remove hundreds of bases from the available pool so the damage is quite extensive. I'm not knocking snipers individually, I understand as long as the system in place rewards them people will naturally do it. I won't snipe bases with loot myself, because I don't need trophies bad enough to ruin the game for others, but I imagine most people don't think about what they're doing in the big picture.
Staying online all the time can be done without ♥♥♥♥♥ing too, and that's one I really don't care about too much. They're paying the price in electricity used and I imagine that's really awful for the device's battery.

Its either online or its not. If they are using a machine, what does that concern you? There aren't any bugs with the revenge option, if you really want to raid someone, be patient and wait for them to get off.Quote:

I think revenging should be a special kind of attack, certainly not something you get to hide behind a shield from. No, it shouldn't be a regular attack (as if you had next'd to them like normal), but it should be something else.
Certainly the mechanics should be reworked so at the very least the defense log list will show the revenge button grayed out for people with a shield or that are online (or ideally, grayed out for shielded and maybe highlighted some other way if they're online without a shield so you can check back on them later in your session; if they're online with a shield they should be grayed out like normal).
But a more comprehensive solution would be welcomed, one that maybe made attackers reconsider attacking certain targets for fear of reprisal/revenge? Or maybe a system where instead of stealing their loot you basically get a "war win bonus" for defeating them (without actually taking any of their loot, or maybe a lower percentage of their loot)?
Probably all of this belongs in the idea's area, but generally speaking I think the revenge system sucks right now and it's such a pain to actually use against a specific person.

I don't understand the confusion about this. I get attacked within minutes of logging off, sometimes immediately. Anybody trying to revenge me would have the same problem you are having. You can't be faster getting to the revenge then someone who is offered them in the queue. I try and randomly here and there I'll get the opportunity to revenge but after a certain trophy level revenge kind of goes away. It's not the end of the world

I've actually had good luck catching some of my revenges by calculating collectors, but I have to say anyone in m2 or higher I never expect to be available. Being that 99% of my defense log is 2% I will reach down and reciprocate a snipe to anyone who gave me a clean shield. Farthest I've gone on that is m1 to gold3.....I can just imagine the reaction to that.
Just curious, why do you people even bother revenging? You raid others, you will get raided.
