Hey All, I've scoured the website as well and submitted an in game request for this but haven't had a definitive answer one way or the other... is there any other method aside from Game Center to get a CoC account/village moved/transferred/copied to another device on an iOS device? Or is game Center the ONLY way??
My daughter has a school issued iPad with Game Center disabled and I am trying to transfer her village to another iOS device that has Game Center on it.

did you try going in options then link a device choose old and new then use the old device code on the new one
Aren't school issued iPads supposed to be like....for school? I mean, people aren't using tax to pay for your daughter to have fun.
FYI for future folks that may run into this, there is no way to this. I'll notify Supercell we need an alternative method to move save files if the native iOS method is disabled...I don't see why assigning an iOS based game to a Google Account isn't permissible...

And by the way, nobodies tax dollars are paying for that iPad, I AM. The school charges a rental fee over 3 years that equate the cost of the iPad, or we can buy/supply our own for them up front.
Its not a troll response, its a valid question. Public funds paid for the iPad, doesn't matter if you're paying it back. You need to relax a little and save trolling accusations for those actually trolling. Personally, I don't care. It's an iPad. Use it for school and whatever else an iPad is used for. You could try to talk to the Tech Management of the school and have a little chat, ask to have GC unlocked for a minute, log in your daughter GC, have the game linked to it, and log off and have GC locked again.
5 min in and out if lucky.

After trying a few things as copying the whole drawer from my new ipad to my ipad 1 coc drawer using iexplorer, i had success only with hayday, i found The solution and it looks to be quite simple. You should have an Android device, phone, tablet, if you do not have it just lend one for a few minutes from one of your friends or parents. Install clash of clans on it, link the device as new one, go to your iPhone,iPad, where your working game is and link it as the old one, choose other devices, get the code and insert it on the Android app. Once you linked he Android device just link it back to wherever you wish iPhone or iPad. It worked. Smile and clash on!
