I really like the idea.
Magic, of course. Clash has that.

It's not like teleportation is a foreign concept for games set in fantasy setting.

What makes you think heroes wouldn't be immune?
If that actually happens it will set off the trap and the next wall breaker you drop will be fine. How is this different than a spring trap?
doesn't it seem like a crappy version of a spring trap? unless the radius is wider and it doesn't have a limit, but that would completely ruin attacking.
I cant tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but I ill respond assuming you're not.
The main thing of note is the idea and the mechanics of the trap, what its called and what it looks like doesn't have much relevance. Take the hound for example, at first it was some weird blimp or something but they changed the design while keeping the concept the same.
They could incorporate the design of this trap while still retaining any 'logic' clash has, which only amounts to their not being anything high tech.
Moving them to the other side of the base would make them utterly useless, but a good way to solve that is to have a limit to how far it can be moved.
Maybe instead of being measured by troop capacity like spring traps it could just be a number of troops, which means if you are lucky a few barbs would be transported but if not you could lose two tanks or something.
