I've been playing COC for a year and a half now, and I feel there's a fundamental flaw in the game - new players have a very small chance of achieving a high level without years of playing. I have friends I might convince to play, but the time it would take for them to reach around my level (I am a fairly active player) makes it not worthwhile for me to enlist them, in that they would not be relevant as clan members in war for at least a few months.
Therefore I suggest measures be taken to allow advanced player to help new players, in such a way that the gap between them might be closed quicker.
I have a few ideas how this could be achieved, but I would be glad to hear others (some of mine are ruled out already I think).
- Allow clan members to build for each other
- Allow aid packages to weaker player
- enlarge the initial clan castle, so that weaker players can take more advantage of strong troops
I don't know if I have the perfect formula, but the fact of the matter is that I don't have any incentive to recruit new players - and that can't be a situation that supercell accepts.
